The “young nucleus of talent” label on applies to guys who contribute and make the team.

Is Robinson 4th round CB part of the that nucleus?
Who knows? That's why we have OTAs and Training Camp. We won't have an idea about what we have until then. The preseason games will help the staff widdle down this roster. Maybe you hate this term but it's a process.

Rockport, my man. I'm beginning to question whether you are an ex=Marine as you say. I have a brother and a cousin who are and know a few too, they all seem to understand other people can have opinions different from yours and it does not make them wrong or a hater, or even take it personally. They respect that. You seem to be the opposite. Name calling and criticism of others does not look well on you. Yes, the Cowboys, just like all teams have some young players, whether they will amount to anything is a big question, We hope they do, we are sick of backing a mediocre team. You seem to still give the FO and especially Jerry the benefit of the doubt. I feel that after 26 years he has lost that privilege. Now, its put up or shut up. I will praise him when he delivers on his promise to put a championship team on the field. Until then, all this is just talk just like all the previous years. You sound like Jerry every year the last two decades. The "haters" you despise are Cowboy fans too who are woke. The Cowboys need to prove it on the field and the FO needs to do its job.

Yep...as an Army Ranger in my youth I served with many Marines in training and combat and I have never met one that acted like he does with his little Jr. Hater crap...so I question if he even served in the Boy Scouts!

Collins the only one of them with any sustained success. All the other players have alot to prove before they can be considered "core" players.
So maybe, if 2021 is the proving ground for this group, and 3 or 4 or 5 of these guys step up, that means more wins are coming!

I’m not an ex-Marine. There is no such thing. And again for the billionth time I don’t classify anyone who disagrees with me a fricken hater understand? A hater is someone who ALWAYS *****es about anything and everything the Cowboys do in every thread and in every post ok? Got it? It’s not that hard to understand. So take your disparaging my Marine Corps service and stick it up your fat ***.

that describes you to a tee. You do nothing but hate on fellow Cowboys fans every day. You are worse than the people on here who are not 100% sold on the team.

You are a, look below.

Prescott and Lamb is the long term core.

We're hoping Diggs is. He showed flashes but it's not like he was good last year.

Cooper it's hard for me to say how long they envision him being here. I wont take issue with adding him to the core.

Zeke, Jaylon, and LVE would be unemployed tomorrow if the team hadn't already erroneously invested in them.

Butler at $3.2m for 1 year would have been their best FA pick up, imo. I think they missed not offering him that deal.
They said they couldn’t afford it. That can’t be true because I have been told on this board that the salary cap means absolutely nothing and the cap can be manipulated to sign any FA that they want. Somebody better tell Stephen and Jerry.

There is not a poster on this board that only posts hateful comments. It varies from topic to topic how each poster feels at that time. With a record of just 6 wins, there is going to be more negative comments . As it stands, there are more problems on this team than solutions. I have much more respect for a poster that recognizes these problems and discusses them ,rather than somebody that sugar coats the problems .

You do the best impression of Jerry on this board; trying to sell the bs before reality hits again - for what, the 27th year in a row. Jaylon is someone to build your core from ? Only you and Jerry have ever been dumb enough to utter those words out loud in front of other people. LVE ? He can’t stay on the field and is one hard hit away from career ending. Another great pillar. Gallup will be gone because they can’t afford to pay him and he is the first person talked about to be traded in the draft. So those are 2 losers and someone who won’t be here. Coop is great as long as we don’t play games on the road. Zeke is ok but slowing down and ties up too much money. And Dak has his stats. CeeDee and Diggs are the only two that are legit. So there are 2 young players, no linebackers, no safety, no tackles, and an aging, hurt oline. And a has-been coach. And Jerry plans to fix everything with rookie draftees. Just stop it. Find another way to get attention.

I’m willing to give the last 3 another year. No more excuses after this year.

your win totals the last 5 years:

13, then 9, then 10, then 8, then 6
I have both Dallas and Philadelphia in the 8 to 10 win region. You guys are tough to call, because Hurts is still an unkown quantity. He does seem to have a knack for winning.

Giants could be a real wild card. I think their range is a bit wider. Between 6 and 10 wins
