Boston has an opportunity for a validating win tomorrow VS Denver. Still not playing as well as they need to, but they have gotten out of their funk. A win against the Nuggets could start a run.

A lost season, but they really need to be able to compete well in the playoffs

Crap.

If I'm the Warriors I think about throttling back Curry's minutes and try to run it back next year. They could benefit from getting a better lottery slot this season and cross their fingers that the Wolves end up having to convey their pick to them. That'd be a real influx of talent potentially.

Are they planning on keeping Wiggins or will they try to move him in the offseason?

The shot Luka hit last night... was L O L.
No ideas why they didn't just foul him and force him to make 2 free throws for overtime.

Also Grayson Allen missing both FTs is some crazy stuff.

Great duel by Tatum and Curry tonight. Reminded of that duel between Curry and Kyrie a few years ago, except we were the winning side tonight.

11 points from Jabari Parker a day after signing him. Would be great if we can get some bench contributions from him the rest of the way

New York Knicks...sitting at 34-27, 4th seed in the east, winners of 9 straight, 7 games above .500 and most wins in a season since 2014 (37 wins)

Gotta admit I'm enjoying the basketball season.

New playoff format? 7vs10 and 8vs9 in one game playoff?

Looks like it was a bad season for the Lakers. Not expecting much from the Lakers this playoffs.

Lakers roster is probably a little better than last year.
But last year they got peak play from both AD and LeBron all year.
If they hit stride now that playoffs are on they will be fine.
Real questions will arise if they get tired in round 3 or so.

Last nights game were interesting in that Charlotte looked bad for 2 months and played even worse last night when it mattered most.
They were playing really well early int he year but it just all kinda went south.

Boston on the other hand had been ice cold and Washington scorching hot but Boston moved on with relative ease.

No real one thing to take away there imo.

I think Lonzo may have inadvertently given Anthony Edwards by coming back and plying at less than 100%.
Not that any of that stuff really matters in the long run.

I do wonder what WAS will do in the off-season. They rose to relevance at least and it's pretty clear Russ plus Beal can work if you build around them.
I think I'd focus heavily on high IQ guys around them. Guys who make rim runs and score efficiently then move their feet on defense.

Gonna be tough with Westbrook and Beal counting $70 million against the cap.

Thomas Bryant (2 years remaining) and Davis Bertans (5 years remaining) count for $23 million, so at best they are looking at MLE guys unless someone takes a bad contract without costing a FRP

With that being said, they are coasting to a win tonight

No doubt. That would be an interesting challenge were I doing a sim to rebuild them on the fly to compete at say 4 seed level next year.

What can they get for Rui? Looks like he's the only true asset at this point if they want to go for a 2 year window you could probably net 2 or 3 older but proven vets for him.

Wonder how ownership feels about paying luxury tax money if they can buy a guy for a couple 2nds?

I didn't watch the Lakers much this season, watched game 1 vs the Suns today, this guy needs to stay on the bench or go home or retire, or maybe go talk to Dwight Howard, he slimmed down and won a title as a role player.

If a player can barley move they shouldn't be on the court in a Laker uniform during the NBA playoffs!

Go sit!

Wait until FA and he realizes no one is going to give him a decent contract anymore because he is a relic. I think Howard got tired of being unusuable
