I have both Dallas and Philadelphia in the 8 to 10 win region. You guys are tough to call, because Hurts is still an unkown quantity. He does seem to have a knack for winning.

Giants could be a real wild card. I think their range is a bit wider. Between 6 and 10 wins

I don’t think we win that many, until Hurts pans out we don’t have a QB

I’m not an ex-Marine. There is no such thing. And again for the billionth time I don’t classify anyone who disagrees with me a fricken hater understand? A hater is someone who ALWAYS *****es about anything and everything the Cowboys do in every thread and in every post ok? Got it? It’s not that hard to understand. So take your disparaging my Marine Corps service and stick it up your fat ***.
As a former Marine, you are appreciated by me so much! Thank you for educating these fools.

Here’s a reason this topic makes me cringe, but is also damning of Philly.

Dallas’s record
2016: 13-3
2017: 9-7
2018: 10-6
2019: 8-8
2020: 6-10

Most of the guys Rockport mentioned are the reason Dallas is in decline. They have contributed to the problems you currently face. Zeke is now the highest paid RB ever, despite running for 1600, then 1400, then 1300, then 900 yards (not counting the suspension year). Everyone here is chastising Rockport for proclaiming LVE as a feather in Dallas’s cap... has he not declined synchronously with Dallas’s record since his rookie season? Demarcus Lawrence isn’t the player he was before he got paid, Jaylon Smith isn’t the player he was before he got paid, Amari Cooper still hasn’t taken That leap he needs to deserve 20m$ a year despite being in year SEVEN. Dak is another issue altogether. It’s not his fault, but it seems the better he plays, the worse the rest of the team plays, he’s the buoy to keep them around .500. Maybe that’s a coaching thing, a Jerry glitz and glamor thing, a paycheck thing, who knows.

Dallas could very well win 14 games next year, it really is a bad division and you are unquestionably the most talented team for the 7th year in a row (and more importantly the only one with anything close to a pro bowl QB). But to proclaim the guys who were there in the decline are the ones you’re cheering about is such a bizarre stance.

Now how is that damning for Philly? We’re in the same decline, except ours is a very different reason. Philly won a ring, then cashed out to keep on older veterans to maintain winning. We traded away picks for players on top of all the picks we traded for Carson, we bought big free agents every year... to middling success. We made the playoffs more than you in that span, but we also couldnt get out of the second round. The difference here is now all those veterans are being cut and our cap is a mess, plus we have almost no major talent under 30.

We have 11 picks in this draft and 2 firsts next year (3 if Carson plays at least 12 games), so I’m pumped about the rebound, but the odds of us being better than you this year is entirely based on Hurts becoming the next Kirk Cousins/Russell Wilson/Nick Foles “Who saw that coming” type situation... which could happen but isn’t terribly likely.

Washington is the best team, and I’m not a Giants believer. So for the division, I think if you go 11-6 that should do it. I don’t think WFT will let you win it with 9

first take that philly nonsense out of here

Zeke is the third highest paid RB now, get your facts straight, hes not in decline by himself check the OL and the team he played with last year added to the fact he recovered from covid and had leg injuries and got close to 1k playing with scores down by as many as 21 points , how are they going to run playing from behind with 3rd string Ol and 4 qbs? Lastly our new wonder boy OC starting on 2019 has been converting this to pass happy first offense, zekes not onte hook for those circumstances....

WFT won the division with philly and Dallas playing with backup team most of the year and only did so by ONE FREAKING GAME, they arent the best, not even close ..a heathy dallas team is better and not because im a cowboy but for the exact reasons fans are trying to proclaim WFT is good,

i say those same facts say they are not..they would have won 10 games last year and only won 7 that was their shot , unless Dallas has another major rash of injuries to star players like we did last year, we are better then WFT..

we will work it out on the field not in forum..

cant wait...

There is not a poster on this board that only posts hateful comments. It varies from topic to topic how each poster feels at that time. With a record of just 6 wins, there is going to be more negative comments . As it stands, there are more problems on this team than solutions. I have much more respect for a poster that recognizes these problems and discusses them ,rather than somebody that sugar coats the problems .

People complain a lot, because they care, because this is a franchise that has been badly run for years. I worry more about the people who think everything is fine.

He is the #1 commando hands down, it’s comical at times.
What Rockport thinks he is

You’re a big man behind that keyboard. But in reality, you’re nothing but a stain on my underwear.

Good post, appreciate the opposing fan perspective, we tend to miss the forest for the trees.

Zeke’s contract is nearly 50% bigger than Mccaffrey’s, and Carolina can get out of mccaffrey’s much sooner than zeke too

zekes missed one game in his career , how many has cmac missed. Go back and tell me whos contract is better as ones making the same money but playing 30% less games and while on the filed since 2016 zekes played the most offensive snaps. Hes a workhorse availability is important and when he has a heathy OL a starting qb and an OC that uses him like hes built for, hes still the better RB IMO..

I like all the judgment last year Dak made 32 MIl for 4 games, so that what 8 mil per game wow that deal!
Cmac made what 10-12mil for 4 games??? 3mil a game nice that steal right there

zeke made 13mil for 15 games, at least he played and suffered through playing with 3rd string spare team around him after recovering from covid and obviously played hurt 3-4 games....

lets add it Tyrone smith, LC, and Jarwin all nice new deals how many games did they play??

so

again take that Philly stink on out of cowboy country..

go onto your own website and leave Cowboy talk to the Cowboys fans :popcorn:
