Part of me really wonders if Tyron should have just gotten the surgery 2 or 3 years ago when the neck thing first starter.

Seems like he's always made the decision to miss a couple of games here and there, rather than significant time because of surgery, but that might have just dragged it out.
It wasnt just Tyrons decision, he was just in agreement with the program.

And there it is! The “aged veteran feels better than he has in years” off season story.

I only need the “rookie says game is slowing down” story to fill out my off season bingo card already.

OK, let's hope Stephen is right on his assumption that both Tyron and Collins will be 100% this year. Yeah, he states it as a fact, rather than a guess but perhaps that's permissible for someone named Jones, rather than, merely, one of us!
I already knew that Jerry had his MD's license but wasn't aware that Stephen did, too.:thumbup:

Its that wonderful time of the year when Jerry reminds me of Gene Wilder in Young Frankenstein and his Cowboys resemble Peter Boyle. You can dress it up Jerry, but it is what it is.

Oh my..you are scaring me bro. Stop it. This is the time of year where we usually pick a winning draft pick. One that
Make a big impact. CeeDee, Wolf Hunter and several other selections like Badass and our CB where quite a haul. Get. Ready for more of the same. No Frankensteins allowed. I would not mind a brain transplant for Jerrah.

It won’t last for over a game or two due to injuries. Tyron will get hurt early and often which will cause him to miss several games. Martin is starting to show his age with the injuries adding up.

Looks like a legend and an out of work bum look a lot alike daddy...
The real life actor is actually a legendary artist in multiple fields.

Yet he's known for that role.

Sad.

I truly hope your cynicism is what it is and things end up better, but I'm not going to bet against it.
Such is the life of a Cowboys fan.

I have left the first flush of youth and my halcyon times are sadly behind me . As I move to my older and and more thoughtful years I find the amount of bu****** has increased. This is just another example. However being a glass half full bloke myself I hope he for the first time is right. As does the guy he's just given that contract to.

While I do expect a rebound I completely support the idea of getting one of the 2 studs @10.

Tyron is young, but has a lot of miles. I doubt we see an aging veteran, with a pattern of injuries, suddenly maintain good health moving forward. How many more years can we expect from him? Even Martin is now 30. Collins hopefully is ok, but we've heard whispers. A young stud to continue our oline dominance isn't a bad idea by any means. Imagine returning to our 2014 form.
I’d be perfectly okay with Sewell (who won’t be there at 10) or Slater. Not exactly flashy picks but this team needs to make sure our QB isn’t running for his life. There’s too much invested not to keep him protected.

It's a constant ongoing issue, the problem isn't going away, the club lied about the severity of it for years calling it back spasms...when it's a herniated disc that will require surgery.
Except for the fact that there is nothing to say it needs surgery besides your baseless speculation.

It's also not ongoing and hasn't been for 3 years

I could get alot happier if they would move Martin to RT and move Collins to G and we waits see if Collins is recovered. If so..move him back to RT and Martin to G. He is our best OL guy. Needs to open up Zeke on the right side and free up the Hero catch passes and the slot to find the openings in the defense.

That's for sure. That's what I think about everything they say. Reminds me of the type of crap you hear out of meth heads.
