Mike White and Dinucci and any other QB the Cowboys drafted had more College starting experience than the likes of Brady, Flynn and some others. Some guys either have it or don't late round QBs are what they are until proven otherwise.
I do not know why you guys are using Tom Brady as reasoning to waste draft picks on Dinucci and Mike White but its insane.....

Because he was an Avg College QB. Who sat behind the "awesome" Drew Henson. He was drafted as a let see if he can develop QB. He is more an exception than a rule but but he was a 6th round QB. I think its wise to take one every year or 2 and see what you can do with him.

I’d rather take a QB whose best asset is how well he plays QB, but that’s just me I guess

Luckily, I just don't gloss over your point. I actually give it credence. Factually, GMs have historically, rather have the QB whose BEST asset is how well they play QB. Nothing wrong with that Philosophy.

In today's NFL leadership qualities (intangibles) at the QB position is the BEST asset.

Crap response as usual

Build straw man
Take it down
YAY! I was right
:muttley:Just because we've disagreed on other topics doesn't mean I was trying to pick a fight :lmao2:

Because sometimes good ones fall trough the cracks. See Tony Romo and Dak Prescott for reference.
Tony Romo was a undrafted rookie free agent....and Dak Prescott didn't fall through the cracks he dropped for a number of reasons....mind you....they had so much fait in him they tried to get Connor Cook and Paxton Lynch in the same draft lol.

But there's only one Tom Brady. There has to be a reason for this. It can't just be "Oh well we want to draft a guy every year or two because we want to find the next Brady". Its silly. If you want to find a QB to develop then there are much better prospects than Mike White or Ben Dinucci......

Jerry is like the guy who predicts all of the upsets in his NCAA basketball bracket then thinks he's great at it because he got one or two right.

we do need a solid QB behind Dak because Dalton say what you will about him he moved this offense up and down the field

You’d rather have a QB who is a leader but can play some QB also (ala Tim Tebow)

I’d rather have a QB who is a great QB and can lead the team also (ala Aaron Rodgers)

I just felt sorry for the you because it’s not really a fight when I’m constantly taking you to the woodshed

A lot of pressure
Dalton is a very good regular season QB
10 wins would not be out of the question with this roster
Dalton can legitimately start

Great signing IMO

Wood sheds are nice....Your fight is weak.

Indeed, the Cowboys have too many legitimate needs within their roster to take a quarterback in the first two rounds. But if we're wondering where the line might be for drafting a quarterback when the team already has a great one, it might be worth looking at the origin of the quarterback they currently have, and the successful strategy they took to acquire him. According to Jones, they'll be implementing that same strategy.

"Certainly we'll keep our eye on [drafting a quarterback] just as we did with Dak when we had Tony Romo, a guy who could make a lot of sense for us there in the middle rounds," Jones said.

Sounds like they already have buyer's remorse on Prescott.

Do you promise NOT to run around Naked?

Dak Haters the Forum has Receipts.....below is worth 68 “likes received”:lmao2::lmao2:

The thing is, the big quarterback success stories in mid to late rounds are usually with players who have some weird twist to their college careers. There are not a lot of quarterback successes who were three-year undisputed starters at big state universities. Roger Staubach had a Naval commitment. Tom Brady fought for his job against Drew Henson. Brad Johnson was a college backup. Bart Starr had an injury-riddled college career and didn't start in his senior year. Kurt Warner didn't start until he was a fifth-year senior.

With that in mind, and just looking over the possibilities, I would go with the Wake Forest guy who's sliding because he didn't play in 2020; or Davis Mills for Stanford, who hasn't played a lot of college football, and Stanford is the second best all-time NFL quarterback factory.

DiNucci has something. He absolutely has to change his mechanics.

He got thrown into a game in Philadelphia on a cold, windy, rainy night and he reverted to his old habits. This was on top of not having a training camp or preseason.

Give him an offseason, training camp, and a few preseason games and then we can all decide if he sucks or not.
DeNucci is a McCarthy pick as he knew him from before . Seems to be a bad choice just as the Defensive coordinator . I wonder how good is the judgment of MM in anything anymore . He got fired at GB and they got better after he left . No one would hire him until Jerry got nostalgic about the 2016 super bowl . I hope am wrong . But MM seems out of his depth and a washed up coach .
