I feel good about all of the prospects at 10, from Surtain, to Horn, to Sewell, to Slater, to Parsons. Sure we can nit pick each player, but I feel good about what each of them adds. And I really dont see them making a suprise pick at 10. This is in contrasts to last year, where I was really gritting my teeth over a few guys at 17.

No anxiety here. With the 10th pick in the draft the Cowboys are in prime position to "Surtain-ly blow their own Horn" :)

No anxiety here either. If Jerry is still in charge I've lost almost all hope and expectations are extremely low.

I don't think the team has any interest in Slater..I also don't have a lot to support that but it's not just a blind thought either..I also don't think the team has much interest in Parsons...

I really think it's Sewell and the 2 cbs..to be honest, I'm not even sure they'd take Sewell over the cbs..maybe but im not sure they would

I stopped feeling nervous about anything Cowboys a long time ago. We haven’t been a relevant playoff team for 25 years. The player we pick at #10 is not going to change that. Doesn’t matter if it’s Pitts, Surtain, Horn, Sewell or Parsons. We will get to listen to Jerry and Stephen tell us how great they are and then be a middle of the road football team this year.

I hear McCarthy has his eye on fixing special teams. All 10 picks will be dedicated to that.

Of the group of names you mentioned my list goes in order:

1. Surtain
2. Horn
3. Sewell/Parsons
4. Slater

I guess I feel better that Marinelli isn't in the room anymore. I have little doubt that if he were, Paye might be a real option at 10.

Gut says that by the end of the night, we stayed at 10 and took our preferred CB choice, Horn.

Marinelli was pure garbage. Every prospect he had his eye on absolutely sucked. 7 years of that. Then they would draft one of his pet projects and he'd be jumping for joy. Clown. He was here 7 years too long. And Garrett 13 too long.

Same here. #3 is interesting to me. Sewell is an OG for at least a year, but he could lock down LT for the next 10. Parsons isnt perfect, but he should be a catalytic player on defense

What will be interesting is we could find out after a couple months of speculation who their #1 CB really is

I’m not either
I’m resigned to the fact that whatever decision they make will be wrong one

The only way the cowboys can really screw this up is if they trade up. I’m really fine with anyone being mentions at 10, I also see a ton of upside in a possible trade down situation.
