Surtain, Horn, or Farley?

Farley might go a bit higher than some think, just depends on the medical reports. Also a chance he could drop out of the first which would tell me that doctors are really flagging his back.
IF Farley is healthy....how high does he go in this draft?

Given he was being discussed as possibly being selected before Surtain in the Top 10-12 range, if he comes back with a complete 100% bill of health some teams will still be leary but he could easily go Top 20.

I ask because I Don't think he's better than Surtain or Horn even if healthy.

I think this happens when guys miss time or get hurt....their stock may not go up but there's a little revisionist history on him. I think he's solid but to me I always thought Horn and Surtain were better. With him potentially not being healthy I can't even look at him in the 1st.

Without his medical history I think there were some projections in the top 8 and a few top 5. Athletically he's a stud. 2 back surgeries with multiple level spinal injuries makes him a top risk !

Agreed on the health concerns but talent wise he was close to Horn and Surtain. That said, I have reservations about Surtain given he is coming from Alabama where his reputation might make him more than what he is so I would take Horn. Ideally Dallas could trade back to #15 with NE if a QB is still there at #10 (based on trade value charts Dallas would have to trade their 1st (#10) & 3rd (#75) in 2021 (1,515 points) for NE's 1st (#15), 2nd (#46), and 5th (#177) in 2021 (1,509 points)) and still get Horn while adding a 2nd round pick while still retaining 1 of their 2 3rd round picks in 2021.

I'd be for it but man.....I do not think Horn makes it to #15....I'm taking in all of these big boards, draft talk today.....it would not shock me if Horn is the 1st CB taken and it forces us to take Surtain. That's what scares me about trading down...what may be available there because it usually isn't much especially when the Cowboys are picking around there.

Well, Dallas needs help at multiple defensive positions so if they did trade back to #15 they could always look at grabbing FS Trevon Moehring at that spot given there is talk that the WFT is interested in taking Moehring at the #19 spot. In the 2nd Dallas could take OLB Jabil Cox given the question marks surrounding both Smith and LVE staying in Dallas. In the 3rd they could grab CB Paulson Adebo with their early 3rd pick and then DT Marvin Wilson with their later 3rd round pick.

TOP 5!?! When was this?
2020 (?). Can't remember where I read it. (I'm old) And let's remember that this is talking head "experts". What I read was he would be a shutdown corner . 4.28 speed, long, fluid, athletic. I can't see top 5 but top 10 very feasible. We have 2 lesser talents supposedly potential top ten picks (Surtain and Horn).

Surtain > Horn > Farley.

I would be okay with 10 overall for Surtain, Horn if I trade back 5 spots, or Farley in the second.

I can see some possibilities of them making out well trading out of Surtain or Horn....but I see a much higher ceiling for this defense if they get one of them as well. #15 for Mohring seems extremely high.

Most have Moehring in the mid to late 20's but drafts get crazy and beyond pick #15 Dallas would then be hard pressed to find a defensive starter in the secondary.
