Fisher: We are told the “lean” is now to Horn

Quinn said that the coverage scheme that Horn ran in S Carolina was similar to what he’d be doing in Dallas for Quinn. The verbiage that the S Carolina defense uses is very similar as well and Horn should be able to hit the ground running if he is the guy.

I’m fine with Horn, and I might even prefer him... and I’ve been a huge Surtain fan in this whole pre-draft process. I wanted Surtain over Farley back when Farley was considered a top 10 guy. I think Surtain is a very good player.

Basically, I see Horn and Surtain as 1a and 1b at CB. I pretty much view them as even but I for sure love Horns athleticism and his alpha attitude. WR’s hate playing against him.

So, if Dallas decides to go with Horn, then I’m good with it. If they go Surtain, I’ll be happy there too.

A lot of good info by Fisher this morning. He says that the Cowboys like Horn over Surtain but would be happy with either of them. He says that the 49ers are taking Lance and the Falcons like Jones. Good stuff.

That’s my stance. Stoked with either player at this point. Hopefully pairing them with a Holland tomorrow
