This IMO would be so much better at 10 than CB. Do they need another? Probably but it doesnt matter who you have covering if the front 7 isnt fixed then the back end will still be bad. Vander Esch's health cant be trusted. And Jaylon shouldnt be allowed in coverage. Parsons is a complete 3 down LBer. This would allow Jaylon to rush the passer and player in the box where he made alot of plays last yr. What hurt him is when Nolan had him drop back.

Surtain IMO is a middle to backend of RD1 prospect. He struggled against the better WRs in the SEC and got eaten alive by Chase. So did Diggs and we saw him struggle vs the top Wrs in the nfl too. If youre drafting top 10 that guy has to be good day 1, and play good. Surtain is gonna struggle, i think Parsons can come in and dominate.

This guy would have the biggest impact on the Cowboys if drafted. Would upgrade the run defense and rush the passer up the middle from the LBer position. Probably be DROY.

Dallas gave up 160 rushing yards per game. No CB gonna cure that. A LB with instincts and can tackle is a good place to start.

Parsons is a great talent but if you guys think Parsons is gonna be a big help in our run D, I think you are going to be disappointed. He's only going to have a big impact in the run game if the ham and egg approach they took at DT actually works out. Because if the DTs get run over again, Parsons ain't gonna be doing much of anything either.

1. I flushed the QBs since we are where we are.
2. Pitts is the generational talent, but Dallas couldnt use him correctly (i.e. the "only somany balls" excuse). They arent going K-Gun full time nor would they have the QB or defense to do it
3. Sewell, Parsons, Slater or trade down to 15ish and get Parsons and package up to get Barmore.

I'd rather take a punter before a CB in the top 25....touches the ball more.. (slight sarcasm)

Would be perfect though. Convince fans how important the draft will be for defense after we skipped out on getting better in FA again, then use many of our premium picks to go chase a Jerry shiny toy TE in the Top 10.
