Your right, everyone knows LB's spend 90% of there snaps in coverage. Lets just forget about LB's all together, and put safeties in a LB. Or maybe put CB's at all positions after all, the only thing that matters is coverage ability in the modern NFL.

I loved the kid
I’m not sure he’s not equal to parsons
But parsons has more upside
I hated seeing their defense get better when they were already good

The thing that concerns me about his run D is that he bites too hard on pass action and option plays. Unfortunately he will see tons of these in NFL.

Lee could really help him learn preparation and that’s so important

We got ourselves a huge weapon on defense and if we stock up on defense in these later rounds, we might have something fun to watch, especially since we have a defensive coach whose proven to have gotten results.

I don't put him on ignore because his posts are so predictably wrong that it is hilarious and entertaining. For every 1 thing he is generically right on (an obvious thing usually) he makes about 500 posts that are just mind boggling incorrect or flawed logic. Definitely the board's George Costanza.

I was a little disappointed we didn’t get the corner. But now we have an opportunity to solidify the linebacking core. I say we take the best middle linebacker available. Finished the position. I’m not disappointed in the pic at all
It’s just a different position getting solidified that’s all. I think he’s the best football player in the draft actually

It just makes you wonder doesn’t it. Look I was a little disappointed we didn’t get the corner because I wanted to solidify the position. But I’m just as happy with this because I think he’s the best football player in this draft

The people who are iffy on this pick (like me) are just worried how he'll do in coverage. I love his run stopping and blitzing abilities, don’t get me wrong. I bet he could be a 10 sack a year guy in the right scheme.

But whether he can cover or not is a huge question that’s not to be ignored. This is a passing league.
