He is.....not the worst rapper I have ever heard.

I have no idea about his actual football skills. I am through with the RKG mindset- the more talent the better.

ill take very fast good football players that make plays at this point over some rumors and right type of guy syndrome.

Lawrence Taylor had issues, Ray Lewis big ben and yes that savior iun one charles Haley wa s a headcase..they have something in common Playmakers..all HOF playmakers

remember when w epassed on Moss over character issues..yup not this time
Completely agree. I like the pick. I hope the coaches can keep him focused on football. If that happens we are set.

I kind of want ET on the team. On a 1 year rental until we draft a long term answer. Give me ET and Sherman on a 1 year rental contract to shore things up.

As far as character issues go. I think back to that article with our former TE Bennet. He said most NFL players are not good people. I feel like a case can be made that any player has "character issues ". At this point I want to win. I don't care about anything else. Unless their actively breaking the law, selling drugs, or raping people. As long as they show up on Sunday and play hard and whatever their character issues are will not get them suspended, I could care less.

Big, fast, aggressive. Likes contact and fights to keep receivers from getting off the line.

He and Diggs have certainly transformed what our CB set up looks like

I’m a fan of this pick
they kind of have the same game. Interesting..

Well, there is this huge difference...

Jimmy won championships with those kind of players. Both at the U and in Dallas. Jerry hasn't won a thing since Jimmy's presence dissipated.
Jerry won those championships too! Jimmy didn't know his place and quit. Good riddance! As a coach, I would hope you understand the chain of command.

This Team has leaders. Prescott, Tyrone Smith

You have no idea what kind of leaders these players will become...despite what some say young men do mature as they get older. No, you are wrong...that 90’s team had talent...and talent won them 3 Super Bowls...better leadership may have won them 4.
You're making things up. Tyron is awkwardly shy and wants no part of being a leader.

You can draft character concerns when you have structure and accountability. Jimmy's teams had it, Jerry has never had it. Thus, the drought.

I would have loved barmore but he wasn’t available.
he was if they move up, like pats did , raiders moved up to get moerig too.
you cant expect every player to fall to you, make some moves.
Dallas seems to be wanting to use all their picks, but more guys doesnt give you bpa quality or need.

And Joseph just has a shady mental makeup.
He seems like a odell beckham type.

yes true and add to it lets give them vchance to either get it right or screw up before we judge..we need some DOGS, seems lie we drafted two very fast aggressive defensive players have some dog in them and chips on their shoulders..we need that IMHO

I'm also a veteran so of course I understand the chain of command. Understanding that the people who outrank you are in charge and recognizing the possibility that they shouldn't be is called being objective.

I coach and lead young men, not sheep.

Yep, we desperately need some nastiness on the defense.

I am excited about the speed and the playmaking abilities of both players. Was it 5 interceptions and 4 pass defenses in 9 games or the other way around? Either way both Parsons and Joseph bring speed, some wood and turnovers to the defense.

I'm excited and pumped about these guys.

I wasn't as familiar with Joseph, but seems like an ultra athletic corner with a nose to find the football. Very impressive performance against Alabama and got great position on Smith. On the downside he's a raw talent and not sure what happened at LSU.

There were a few other corners there with more film that were possibly safer picks but Joseph carries some serious upside.
I think the cowboys liked the int's, but int's are much harder in the nfl than in college. I think they just looked at that and athletic ability
and ignored the mental aspects.
Also they were determined to get a CB, and let need or want overrule BPA

All you RKG guys, when exactly did we have a locker room of RKG’s? Or is that just a convenient term to use to sum up the JG years?

So instead of moving up and taking a guy with talent and a good attitude you claim you’re sick of RKG’s and want a guy that’s played 20 games in college, has been on two different teams, has a work ethic issue, is immature, and is inconsistent but shows flashes of being good?

Lol, every year Jerry does this crap and we continue to be irrelevant. Whether it’s character issues or injury issues, Jerry finds these “discounts”, gets the fan base hyped up and rarely do they deliver. LVE and Smith come immediately to mind, then there’s guys like Hardy, zeke (who hasn’t been worth the pick or salary), Dez was always a headache, Josh Brent, Randy Gregory, Aldon Smith, etc. How did those RKG’s work out for us?
