Who knows how this pick will turn out. According to the concensus, Slater and Parsons were about equally rated. FWIW, the rumor was that the Cowboys viewed Slater strictly as a guard at the NFL level.

I am NOT for drafting for need, but I think the need on the OL is much higher than most do.

I'm not saying Parsons was the main antagonist, but don't minimize the situation. I'm hoping this won't be an issue and Parsons plays well for us. But what was said in the complaint is pretty sick and disturbing, if it's true. I'm also holding out hope that the complaint was exaggerated. If it is 100% true than everyone involved should be spending the next 4-6 years in prison.

But guys will do all manner of stupid crap in a mob setting. Let's hope Parsons was just a stupid kid caught up in this.. But from a lot of reports I’ve read. Parsons may have been involved in some
Hazing, or bullying

But wasn’t the one doing the sexual stuff.... which is why Parsons isn’t actually listed as a defendant in the lawsuit.

so it’s also very possible that Parsons was there, was doing some hazing but wasn’t the one who took it overly far...... if the allegations are even true themselves.

supposedly the sexual stuff was Gross-Matos. Who was drafted last year.

Yes, the complaint that was filed against the defendant was the defendant wrestled him down with the victim being naked and the defendant put his genitals in his face and anus.

The complaint did not say Parsons was the person who did those exact things but Parsons was involved in the event. So if I understand it correctly Parsons was named as a person who was involved but not the "main person".

If Parsons was actually the guilty party than his name would have probably been removed from at least 20 teams' boards.

He's guilty of being stupid enough to be involved, but I don't think there's enough here to worry about.

unsubstantiated complaint its an allegation and was really against the entire locker room..not just parsons..

I know that. In my post I stated that Parsons was not the main antagonist. The point of my post was someone made a complaint that another person put his genitals in his face and anus. That's rape. That's not a joke. That is assault.

That should not be minimized due to it being a college football team. It is rape if you stick your genitals in any body part of another person without their consent. It's inappropriate to downplay and minimize that by saying it was "a joke", or "hazing" or we were "just partying ".

Rape is rape regardless how anyone wants to protect the rapist. Putting genitals into someone's anus is rape.

I don't know for sure what actually happened in the locker room and I'm not saying that Parsons did anything illegal.

My point of the post is the act of sticking your genitals into someone's anus is rape. I'm not saying it happened or the complaint is accurate, but to say that someone should allow themselves to be violated or they're "bubblegum" is not appropriate.
