This is the most disappointed I’ve been in a draft since 2009. Before you jump on me, yes we got much better players this draft than 2009 but we had opportunities to get vastly better players and just whiffed every round missing out on better players because either we wouldn’t pay the price to get who we needed or just had our heads up our butts and threw a dart to make our selection.

Them's the breaks friend. I agree. Things fell wrong.

Why did we draft Bradley Anae last year?
A) Different staff

B) Quinn is building a variant DL. He wants all different type of guys other than fat 1T. Anae and Basham are the guys who translate to the role Bruce Irvin played in Seattle when Quinn was there.

  • Chauncey Golston DE Iowa......Not the worst pick. He looks like he could be a dude....can spell D-Law....More I think about it....I like the pick. Strong side LDE...can help stop the run. We needed a guy to do the dirty work.

Osa Odighizuwa could be moved to DE and paired with Chancey Golston. Size at DT, aka hole fillers, can be found in the later rounds.

Just trying to make sense of it all.

I don't know if its the edible kicking in but man you're extremely optimistic. I don't think i've seen you say one negative thing about this draft

I'm typically optimistic, but I genuinely like this draft. I was wanting all defence. We're not going to build an elite defence in one draft, and we need all the help we can get on that side of the ball. I like all the players we're picking. I genuinely love what the FO is doing so far.

Positives: Underrated defensive end prospect with upside and growth potential. Fires off the snap, breaks down well, and plays with proper pad level. Moves well laterally, slides off blocks, and makes plays in pursuit. Incredibly quick, displays terrific hand technique, and bends off the edge, immediately altering his angle of attack to pursue the action.

Occasionally stands over tackle and shows the ability to rush the passer. Exploits marginally athletic offensive tackles, plays hard and is rarely off his feet.

I don’t know, but no one else has grabbed him either so.......
Golston is a terrible pick. Where dies he play? Anae and Armstrong are still on the team. They draft OO just before. Seriously this is a bad pick. Not sure this guy makes the roster. Just weird.

Golston is your Tyrone Crawford replacement. End size, but would be more effective rushing the passer at DT.

Gregory is definitely playing the LEO.

For all these people that hate these draft picks who are you wanting to be drafted. None of you have any idea how these players will turn out.

If you picked every player that landed right before us I’d guarantee a better draft. Not realistic but true
