Combine Invite: Yes
Height: 6015
Weight: 282
Dates: 03/23/21
Hand: 10 3/8 Arm: 34 1/8
Wingspan: 84

Height: 6015
Weight: 282

10 Yrd Dash: 1.74
225 Lb. Bench Reps: 25
Vertical Jump: 31 1/2
Broad Jump: 10'00"
20 Yrd Shuttle: 4.44
3-Cone Drill: 7.57

This is a scouting pick. He is not that big, not that fast, but he has strength and at 6-2 he has 84" wingspan. This is only intriguing when you are a 3-time All State. Not just All state he was ranked no.1. No.1 in the country.

UCLA’s Osa Odighizuwa is our No. 3-ranked defensive lineman.

A native of Portland, he was a three-time state champion who finished his career with 131 consecutive victories.

“I feel like that’s something that a lot of guys who are linemen in high school should do is wrestling in the offseason because it help you with your hands, mental toughness, your footwork, your balance, your understanding of leverage,” he told NFL Network recently. “That’s something that as your developing as a defensive lineman is going to help you a ton.”

His brother, Owa, was a third-round pick by the New York Giants in 2015. Osa had a 3.3 grade-point average in high school and made the UCLA academic honor roll, as well. Owa preceded Osa at UCLA. They overcame a horrifically difficult childhood. Their father, Peter, shot and killed three people.

His best role early on could be as a sub-package 3-technique who makes his impact on obvious passing downs. And, he has character and is not a character.

This team knows how to draft offense. Terrible at drafting defense. In recent defensive drafts, who have they come out with? Stephon Diggs is one of the few steals we've walked away with. Aside from that, we assembled one of the worst defenses in cowboys history. LVE and Jaylon had one great season and fell off a cliff and LVE's neck injury started to come into effect like many had suspected. Jaylon diminished. Randy Gregory looks solid when he can actually stay on the field... but that's the issue. He can't stay on the field. Awuzie got roasted at corner. Jourdan Lewis is boom and bust. In terms of coaching, fans were right about Mike Nolan as well, but even they underestimated how bad it would be.
You meant Trayvon diggs right ?

I like what they did on defense last year.

I think it’s funny that people are mad we didn’t move up for Milton Williams, of all people.
Yeah, if you liked Williams... you should like Odighizuwa. Very similar. Williams a little faster and Odighizuwa longer arms and better competition.

Quinn wanted real speed and quickness at 3T with the option to play DE some in heavy sets and that’s exactly what he got with this pick.

I love quick DL, so I’m happy. I made a thread about him a couple of weeks ago but I focused more on Williams because the team seemed to be focusing on him.

Odiggy is much the same player.

Usually, I can at least SEE what it is that they are trying to accomplish, even if I disagree with the players chosen. This time, I just can't seem to get a handle on the plan. I just hope that they HAVE a plan.

I literally feel better about this pick knowing that you don’t like it. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone with worse takes on players than you.

There are three plus season of real film to backup my argument. Yours not so much, sorry that you are wrong.

Again if you’re going to criticize, please know the players you’re referring to. Stefon plays WR for the Bills. Lol.
