This kid would have been a top 20 prospect if he wasnt also a rapper. Idc if he wanna rap or get into it with college coaches this kid can str8 up ball.
That’s odd because the Giants 1st round receiver is a rapper, had some minor issue with a gun IIRC and most people had him going in the first round, which he did.

The Dallas guy played a total of 29 games for two different colleges and has a reputation of being lazy, giving up big plays and being extremely immature. Pretty sure that’s why he’s not a top 20 prospect.

Another note about Joseph.

college isn’t for everyone. It isn’t everyone’s cup of tea.

Joseph is obviously a guy who is worried about making money and having a good career.

you don’t make money in college. Hence his rap career

If he is able to recognize that hey, I’m in the pros now. And I can make the most money by being the best CB possible. Then that’s fine.

That's a huge "if" when other talented players were sitting there who are committed to the game.

You don’t get a guy as talented as Joseph in the second round without there being that IF.

I’m not saying it will work out. But just discussing the situation

Hence why a guy his talent level was even available at 44.

if not for that IF. He wouldn’t make it anywhere close to there.

that’s what I just said. Lol

He's OK but sitting on your hands because you want to keep all your 3rd and 4th round picks and not get Moehrig was dumb. Just simply dumb.

While I'd normally agree with you, the defense was neglected for so long that there are too many holes and needs to be able to do this. It's going to take work to fix this historically bad defense. They screwed it up for too long. We should wait and see how the draft and the 2021 season plays out with who was selected before declaring it a failure.

Joseph only played a grand total of 15 college games I believe.

What is it with us just wanting trouble players? Do we not do homework on these people are just those the types we like so much? We need more Lee's and less David Irvings.

My man already knows how to lock up Devonta Smith

He certainly is intriguing and has good tape. I have zero issues with him being a rapper.

My issue is maturity and being dismissed from two college programs.

I've also listened to 3-4 interviews with the kid. He doesn't strike me as a the sharpest tool in the tool kit. You listen to Surtain or Horn and you can imagine them putting in time, breaking/studying film to get an edge. I'm not left with that feeling with Joseph, lol.

Of course there may be mentality and behavioral issues with this player, but the sad fact of the matter is that at the NFL level, the positions of RB, CB and WR are gong to have the highest percentage of problematic players

So no matter who one picks it’s a crap shoot
