The Cowboys could have got Barmore and Moehrig/Joseph

I like DTs that are still available round 4 better than Barmore. You guys don't like picks cause of value but want to trade away picks for less talented players just cause you know their name or seen them in a National Championship game make a couple plays

Patriots had the best draft. They didnt move up for a QB but did for defensive lineman.

Football people make football decisions where as entertainers create entertainment like the Cowboys front office did.

New England traded their 46th, 122nd and 139th picks to the Cincinnati Bengals for the right to Barmore at 38. We could have offered 44, 115, and 138 for Barmore.

The Cowboys could have packaged their three 3rd picks (which look like Jags) = 489 points which is equal to the 42 pick. IMO the Niners might have done it for 43 since they gave up so much future draft capital.

Quality > Quantity. Parsons, Barmore, and Moehrig/Joseph would have been a blue chip draft.

Nope.

There's no way this team was going to part ways with its year 2045 6th round pick.

Jerry should have vetoed Stephen and traded up. Quality over quantity, especially in this draft.

Quinn is calling the shots on this draft. Doesn't matter how other draft gurus have them ranked. The scouts may have had them a round later but, Quinn gets what he wants to make his
version of defense try and work this season. My fail and we'll be stuck for 3 years.

According to Kiper, we took his 44th ranked CB in round 3. baffling. But, we needed that pick more than Barmore!

His defense sucked in Atlanta and he rode Pete Carrols coattails in Seattle. We had plenty of draft ammunitation to move around and get the guys we really wanted. Instead we sat back and settled for leftovers.

I agree, I'm really surprised and disappointed with this. Over the years, the Jones family seem to fall in love with some of this coaches

That's the one pick I really don't understand, especially since according to Jerry they had 6 players they really liked right there. So it wasn't like they didn't like a player for that spot and so just picked a project.

Belichick is usually great at drafting defensive linemen.
This, he is a D guru, his no name players perform better than flashy ones , as overall scheme his defense adjusts and takes away the opponent offense.

Second day of drafting was a **** show. Dallas first move out of the gate should have been going for either Moehrig or Barmore.

Spineless organization

Hate this year's draft. Yes we drafted defense but horrible selections outside Parsons
You call them spineless.

I call them plain dumb. They don't have it in the cabeza.

SMH. These 3 scrubs don't equate to the 42nd pick in the draft (Moehrig).

I posted the exact same from Bruglers Big Board today and it was like I killed someone and our scouts had some secret formula. I think we were better 4-7. Sometimes you have to call it out

Going off Dane Bruglers Big Board:

Osa O: 75 pick / 121 on Big Board

Golston 84 pick / 123 Big Board

Wright 99 pick / 278 Big Board

Or the defensive tackles that they actually drafted could turn out better than Barmore and Joesph could turn out to be the best corner in the draft. We will have to wait and see.
