If his Shoulder ever heals. According to Rappoport most Teams believe his shoulder will never heal again to let him play and make an impact
Interesting...I see a lot of teams said they weren't concerned with his medicals....

I don't see it. Especially since he's a safety.

He was brought in to play a coverage LB role. He would have spent very little time at safety. Wilson is entrenched at SS and they brought in Kazee to play FS.

Cox does what the brought Neal in to do, but he's younger and without the injury history. It may not be immediate, but I think his presence makes Neal expendable.

I think Cox pushes Neal off the roster.

Was just about to say this. What are the odds Neal actually plays any LB at this point? Real chance either Neal doesn’t make the roster, or Wilson is regulated to a bench role...which is a questionable way to invest you biggest FA contract to say the least

The Cowboys HAVE to add a big body now. They have two legitimate blue chip linebackers. They have a chance to start over and do it right. A fat boy is an absolute MUST at this point. Even if he's only a two down guy

I'm curious if we don't have Wilson compete at both safety positions. Right now, we don't know how Kazee is going to look coming off injury ... and we have no other free safety prospects.

We seem to have plenty of SS types, though, including Cox. I think he could have a Darren Woodson-type career at SS.

Pushing Wilson to the bench would be terrible considering our only FS is coming off an achilles tear. Wilson has good range at SS and thats something we will need

Steal of the draft. Super pumped about this one. A thumper with winning pedigree. Love this pick!!!

I will add that this shows what Dallas really thinks about 54 and 55. Losing players.

For where he was drafted, can't be mad at this pick at all.

I don't buy it. I think he was here to play some coverage LB but he was going to play safety. Makes no sense to just sign a SS to play linebacker for you........solely anyway.
