If Elerson Smith becomes an all-pro DE for the Giants I will give up commenting on the draft. How did they come up with that rating? Every evaluation of him I have seen says he is a backup with starter potential. I think Kelvin Joseph has a better chance of making the pro-bowl than Elerson Smith.

But that's why all this draft analysis is just total crap.

These guys are hucksters who are just looking for clicks. Nobody knows Nothing for at least year 3. Jeremiah & Brugler know a bit about drafting since they work at it all year long.

They have the giants drafting 3 all-pros? What in the hell...

I am curious how they got to that as well. Like in a league littered with really good WRs, how do they conclude that Toney is a future All-Pro WR?

Mathew Postins works for Fish. Every article I've ever read made me feel dumber for doing so. He just used two other sites grades in this. It's just moronic like all his stuff.

The starters for this year's class are Parsons and Joseph. If Vander Esch gets hurt you then may have Cox.

Two for sure, and one maybe.

Is this not considered a success by NFL drafting standards?

If this draft class produces 7 starters I'll get a Dak Prescott tattoo on my face.
You may want to be careful.

The first two picks will start. Ball will probably start a game or two, considering the injury history of our OL. I'm thinking there's a chance that Cox starts a game or two due to injuries to LVE and Smith. That's four starters already. If we open in a run-stopping set, you may see Bohanna.

Now, I'm not sure if you meant "regular starters", you didn't specify. If that's the case, you may be tattoo-free on your face. If you meant "never starting".....I think you need to be selecting tattoos.

They say it wasn't a good draft but they project 4 players to become starters and an all-pro? I'll take that.

I'm not sure we got a single starter out of the third round. That will be disappointing. I do think other than the first two picks, Cox has a chance to eventually be a starter, and if not, a key role player as a coverage LB. I think Bohanna also has a chance to start at 1-tech on run downs, but that may be more about him being a better option than Woods than him being a great player that we have to get on the field.

If we get one starter out of the rest or even rotational role players, I'll feel fairly good about the group, but it also depends some on how a few of those players we could have got turn out. For example, if Molden turns out to be a starter and Wright is no more than a backup, you have to question that decision. The same with Tommy Togiai tears it up in Cleveland, while Odighizuwa is just a body here.

Interesting because NFL Draft Bible assigns Current Value and Future Value to each pick, and thats the centerpiece of the article

It's a bit of a silly concept.

In reality, every player with the required physical ability is a potential All-Pro.

The only ones that you can really rule-out for potential are the ones that just don't have the physical ability required.

It would make more sense to give probabilities of being All-Pro.

IMO, most of the players the Cowboys drafted have the required physical ability to be good/great. Their success is dependent on mental-makeup and coaching/scheme.

It is much better than the days when the Cowboys drafted guys like LB Caleb McSurdy in the late rounds because he literally had zero chance to be a quality NFL starter due to lack of athletic ability. Similar issue with some of the players in the 2009 "Special Teams" draft.
