It doesn't matter to me. We need this coaching staff to step up this year if we wish to see the true value from each draftee.

.....and that's why we had the draft we did, there's no way Jerry had much say in that draft otherwise we would have drafted names.
Definitely Quinn's draft, he hasnt got a great army, so at least give him his preferred weapons.

And we're off ..

I'm very happy with it! I like what I see in him. He has the look of someone who has the potential to be a shutdown corner. He is one of the players I hinted at when I was saying the best CBs in the draft were not in the first round along with Adebo. Just as you can sometimes find better WRs after round 1, the same is true for CBs. Joseph is one such case.

Because athletically hes a freak. Hes a rsw prospect that has already flashed playmaking ability in zone and man coverage. Held de smith to 0 catches and had an int in man against him. The kid has that swaggu u want from an outside corner that wont back down and is a dog. O and the ball skills 4 ints in 9 games
People without swagger dont come with the name Bossman Fat

I love the pick. I favored Moehrig here, but 0 complaints.

He has legit #1 corner vibes

Even better is that we are pairing him with Diggs. That's going to make testing our outside corners quite difficult. They will get beat at times, and that happens, but I think we will be very happy with them being paired. QBs are going to be quite wary of trying to test them. If the ball is slightly off, Dam Prescott is probably jogging into the field next. That's the fear we want others to have. It causes an overcorrection that can lead to picks. And that is a fear I think Joseph and Diggs now provide. Quite the upgrade from Awuzie and the other JAGS.

He should have never made it out of the top 15-20 IMO.

I see him as a similar steal to what we got with Diggs last year. I like his attitude a lot. His skillset is there. I think he's going to develop into a lethal CB. When was the last time we got a pick 6? Better yet, when's the last time we had we had 2 CBs that can threaten that? We have that now! It'd be nice for us to have defenders who can score as well.

On a serious note, he has a better overall skill than Diggs, however Diggs was a more advanced player coming out. Even so, he should be capable of starting this season. Long term you want him on #1's and Diggs on #2's.

I will vote yes, because I’m fine with him where he was picked.

In reality, I feel like the optimal situation would have been to trade up for Holland so we’d have a legit ballhawk FS in the backfield.

If all else fails we had Kazee to play FS. If all else failed we have Anthony Brown playing CB2. I know which combination I'd prefer.
This draft needs to be looked at in light of the Compete Now needs and what we've already got on the roster.

may be a good idea to look up Kazee’s injury history
At least Brown will be on the field

but we could have had Holland or Grant if that was the case

we just ignored the position and that idiot Stephen made a joke about it during the PC which shows us their mindset
Jones boys tend to like the 'outside' guys lol
DE, OT, WR, CB's The outside LB's?
if they aint outside the jones boys dont care about them lol. **Except QB and RB they go nuts over certain ones.

I voted no, but I’m not unhappy. It just doesn’t move the needle.

I voted no. Love his skills but I think being a rapper means more to him than football.

They often are over heard cracking off the best jokes about safeties while having steak for lunch.

Yes. I think he has the athleticism and mentality where he could follow the other teams #1.
I don't think he needs to rush too much. Diggs is high floor who gave up a completion rate of 54% and a rating of 85 last year. Thats better than ever 1st round guy the last 3 years minus Ward. But I think he is somewhat limited, and long term better suited to being a #2. However he should he OK on #1's until Joseph takes over

How he does in camp will tell us a lot.
