Fave Pick:
Kelvin Joseph -- Joseph to me was CB4. He has the 4th most "talent". I think I'd rather gamble on his "character" than Greg Newsome's health. Was a massive need and I think you got a guy who can really do the job here. Has to have his mind right about ball but the fact the team was arguable the most dialed in this off-season bodes well.

Sleeper Pick:
Going to blow minds here but I like the kid at 99. He is a long CB with good straight-line speed and will attack the ball. I think he has a very real chance to succeed as a zone CB which fits what Quinn normally does. Nahshon might have been rated R3 on a lot of boards imho had he had 2 full seasons on P5 play with regular off-seasons. Might have been R4 on most boards had he simply been coaches on some agility drills. Guys like Parsons spent a full year preparing for the Pro Day testing.

Scary Pick:
Micah Parsons. I don't mean this is a bad pick or poor value but it sounds like we are going to make him the face of the defense as this 3-3-5 Rover/Bandit type and that's a lot of pressure. If it fails entire defense may need an overhaul in 12 months again. Could be DWare or he could be miscast totally in this role.

Pick you liked least.
OT ball. Look, I don't need Choir Boys. But mannn that is a bad look when a guy has double digit incidents of domestic disturbance calls. Lots of raw talent but this is 2021 and I wouldn't have done this in round 7.

The Josh Ball case is 3 years old and he has been on good behavior since. The Cowboys are not the only team to pick up players with questionable character. Antonio Brown is still in the league, isn't he? The Micah Parsons case, alleged hazing in college, and the Joseph incident of a rules violation are being blown out of proportion because it's the Cowboys. The Parsons case is a civil suit, which he was named, but is is not the only college student involved. to claim a kid has bad character because he did something stupid in college would indict more than half of all college students.

favorite:micah parsons...play makin' dude that can play inside or outside.

scary pick:jabril cox...always caught my eye in the games i watched...good player.
and he's pissed about being passed over.

sleeper pick:dt osa odighiwuza...wicked wing span and strong as an ox.
can play the run as well as any other dlineman and can get home to the qb.
can play up and down the line.

pick i liked the least:nebraska og...only because i have no idea who he is.
he's coming from a school known for its olinemen over the decades.
but im not familiar with him at all.
its not because of ability....i just have no idea who he is.

Fave: Osa Odigizuwa (I can' spell it): I love his energy. I think he can be a quick penetrator.

Sleeper: I really like Chauncy Golston

Least: Ball

Favorite Pick-Joseph. Like the combination of a big corner and a speed one on the other side. Both have above average ball skills, think this is going to be the best tandem we have had in years. Joseph's issues are more with immaturity then with the law.

Sleeper Pick-Odiggy. Love those wrestlers who know how to play with leverage.

Scary Pick-Cox. He must prove he can become a three down player, then just a situational coverage linebacker.

Least-clearly Ball. He is talented, but domestic violence past will get him out of the league very quickly.

You guys are probably lots more knowedgeable than me being a Canadian born and living hockey life with my girls...that being said I have also probably watched 35 years or more of Cowboys football and never been as horrified at watching our so called LB play as I have the last couple of years...saying that I'm excited to watch Parsons

Favorite Obviously my favorite was pick 10 because we got two future starters, Parsons and Golston, who will both upgrade the pass rush and run defense.

Sleeper pick I think the speedy wide receiver will help open up the offense for us in the way we were hoping Ruggs would do last year.

Scary pick Joseph has all the talent in the world so I hope Quinn can get the most out of him and keep him focused. He shut DeVonta Smith who the Eagles took with our pick at 10.

Least favorite was the OG because I thought there were higher rated OGs even in the seventh.

Favorite: Parsons. I wouldn't have taken him if we could have traded down again, but he has the most talent and potential of any of our picks.

Sleeper pick: Bohann. Moves well for his size and may be the one to eat up the blocks in the middle.

Scary pick: Joseph. Boom or bust here. Is he football focused? Any Dallas 2nd rounder should be scary.

Least favorite: Ball. Hope he never sees the field. Very disappointed in the front office for this one.

People feel because they root for the Cowboys that you have to root for these guys. You don't. You don't have to justify it just because Antonio Brown is in this league.

Everyone deserves a second chance....11 incidents suggest he's had 10 or 11 tries. I guess for him he's lucky none of it was caught on film or his career would be over. I'm not at all concerned with the stuff Parsons and Joseph are accused of. I just can't really get behind domestic issues but I also haven't read much on the situation aside from whats' on the exterior so maybe there's something more there that I'm missing. Out of all the reach's in the draft that's the one pick that left a bad test in my mouth.

Of course there is. And there will be even more if he does well.

I'm all for guys getting another chance....but factor in 11 incidents and then the first thing out of his mouth as he gets drafted is "The past is the past and everybody's moved on so I don't really have a comment on all that.".....just disgusting....he's not even capable of pretending to even have remorse.

Favorite pick - Jabril Cox. Incredible value. A Parsons/Cox duo has the potential to be incredible.

Sleeper Pick - Quinton Bohanna/Simi Fehoko. Bohanna has the size and skill to keep our LBs clean to roam and make tackles by forcing a double team. Fehoko has the athletic ability to turn into something, although he isn’t a natural pass catcher. But there’s no denying he’s a physical specimen.

Scary pick - Joseph. I love his attitude and skills, but he needs to keep his head in check. He took to many personal foul penalties in college and NFL refs are going to be watching for it.

Least favorite pick - Josh Ball. I hope he’s turned a corner and become a decent human, but so far everything indicates he hasn’t. I would not want him on the team. I have no sympathy for women abusers. I hope this guy has had anger management therapy or something. I think that almost everyone can be redeemed and turned into a good person, but this guy doesn’t seem like he wants to try.

My other leash favorite pick is Wright. A real WTH pick there.

There's something about having two guys kids of grow up with each other. I know Zeke probably shouldn't have been the pick at #4 that year but its cool to have rookies come into the league together and watch them play well and grow in this league. I'm still holding out for Jaylon and LVE but I'm highly intrigued by Cox and Parsons coming into this league together and being here for years to come.

And let me commend you for writing up something about Joseph and not mention his rap career as something that's going to deter him from being good.......

There is something about Fehoko....I don't know if the impact will come anytime soon..and I know this is cliche but he just LOOKS the part. He looks like a football player. But to their credit they do a good job of that at receiver. I think Noah Brown and Cedric Wilson are like that too. He looks like a guy the Packers would've drafted at receiver in later rounds or someone the Colts would've drafted back when they had Peyton. For him to make this team he's going to have to contribute to special teams in some form or fashion out the gate.

My favorite is Parsons that's who i wanted all along. followed closely by Cox
My sleeper is space eater from Kentucky Bohanna
I don't know much about the corners outside Joseph and all I have on him is some highlights so they would be my scary pick. I love the upside of joseph I hope is is committed to football and Rap don't distract him
least favorite pick= I dont have one I liked the draft. Wright at 99 i question but I cant wait to see what all of these picks bring to table
