Go look at previous third rounders around the league, something like half don't even stick in the league.

Finally finished watching him. He's my favorite pick of day 2. Solid against the run. I thought he was decent rushing the passer on his senior tape; bad on his junior tape. Lacks mobility. Never going to be a speed rusher. Thought he looked late off the snap. All in all, probably an effort to replace Tyrone Crawford. Picking him in the 3rd is a bit rich, but I don't hate it.

Backups? I think you will be pleasantly surprised by Golston! Very disruptive at Iowa and plays really physical. Cowboys got a guy here that will be an instant upgrade against the run and just makes plays. I don't understand the negativity one bit about this pick to be honest. He wasn't lasting until the 6th round like some are suggesting. Very doubtful he would've been there in 4th. Possibly at 99 he would've been there but that was no guarantee.

I'll take tough good football players at #84 all day and twice on Sunday!

one of my favorite DEs.
love his size.
strong vs the run.
in the iowa games i've watched...he was always around the ball or hsrassing the qb.
high motor...never quits.
high character.
good player.
bruglar had him rated in the 4th.
this DE group is gonna be a tough battle in camp.

At least a round early on all of em IMO.

I’ll be pulling for all of them to prove me wrong but the 3rd round was a disappointment for me.

Watched two games and IMO he was soundly whooped by the opposition O-line. He's got traits, a good attitude, high motor etc but I'm not sure he can actually play.
