And He went to Stanford. . . so I bet His Brain weighs more then those other players on the list
Read that Fehoko went on a two-year LDS mission overseas before becoming a Cardinal, so the guy probably more mature and worldly than most of his peers.

Didn’t Fehoko only start like 4 games at Stanford? If he can’t consistently crack the starting lineup in college and produce there— why would he all of a sudden do it in the NFL? Because he is an “athlete”?

I am fine taking a project/development pick, and I am rooting for the kid, but he has a long ways to go before he gets on the field as anything other than a special teams guy
I’m not sure how many games he started but he played 15 games the last two years and had 61 catches for 1,140 yards and 9 touchdowns for an 18.5 per catch avg.
77% of his catches accounted for either a first down or a TD.

Pro day 40 times should be discounted about 0.03 relative to combine times, IMO.
In the old days the international standard for converting hand times to full auto was +.15 seconds. So a hand timed 4.4 would be converted to 4.55. This is done to account for human error.. Pretty much all pro day times should be tossed.. and just watch film. When I see a guy who ran a 4.5 consistently run away from a guy who ran a 4.3 I don't need a stopwatch to see that somebody fudged the 4.3 guy's time. Nothing about the pro days were consistent.. Timing, jumps, even the damn measurements of hand size and arm length were subject to interpretation. I fully expect this draft to yield the highest bust factor we have ever seen..

But also a high steal factor. Just harder to know this year. Good year to have a lot of mid round picks, IMO.

I see a similar path to Miles Austin.. He even reminds me a little of Miles.

Miles had a couple of years where he was just an incredible player too.

That's who I was thinking of as well. Not just because of size and speed, but his personality seemed similar too

We don't exactly have the QB for helping WR's build up

Yeah, cuz when Amari came in, lifted that 2018 season, the ball just "magically" ended up in his hands. Amari then "magically" had a career high number of the receptions the next season.

Seriously man?

Fehoko also had a really good pro-day running routes and catching passes, I thought. Of course it's a lot different when there is a CB facing you, but I thought he showed speed, smoothness and good hands when he was catching passes.

Question for @Reality. Can we start talking about these individual draftees in the Draft Zone again?

Anyone talking about getting ride of Cooper, I'm not listening too. You don't get rid of a sure #1 receiver for a lessor talent, it's not like we've already won the Super Bowl.

You need to stay current with the Cowboys. Andy Dalton isn't the starting QB anymore.

Okay short memory dude. Dak struggled to pass the 200 yard passing mark every week for a season and half until Amari Cooper arrived. So who made who?

Amari Cooper was kicked off the Raiders. He had 22 catches and 280 yards in 6 games before being traded. Grandpa Jody Nelson and the TE Jared Cook were having a better season in 2018 than Amari with the Raiders.

He took off once he got to Dallas and Dak as his QB. So who made who again?

I strongly expect that once Cowboys fans get a taste of what Simi Fehoko can do, they'll take to him like hogs do to mud!

It may take a while for it to happen but it will occur! He's not a recognizable name now but he'll be known in due time. ;)
I am not in favor of letting him get iced on the practice squad. If he truly has talent....we should work him in.

If judging talent using what the coaches make of a player is the benchmark...then we have a ton of failed players over the years.

Amari was a 1st round WR for a reason.

It's always a "team game" until it's convenient to not be.
