Folks can say what they want, but I'd take Heath all day, every day, and twice on Sundays over Darian Thompson.

This is very true. Not sure how Heath played last year, but he's always been a good special teams player/backup. Might be a good backup plan in case Kazee is slow bouncing back from his injury. Better than just counting on Thompson or a sixth-round draft pick.

Frankly, I think Thompson gets cut this year. We have Kazee, Wilson, Kearse and Mukuamu at safety and possibly Reggie Robinson. Then, we've got Diggs, Joseph, Brown, Lewis, Canady, Goodwin and Wright at corner. That's 12 players, so two of those in addition to Thompson will need to be cut. However, I still don't mind adding Heath to that mix and keeping whoever the best 10 ends up being.

Only Cowboys fans dedicate so much of their time complaining about a hard working, overachieving JAG. Never seen any other fanbase in any other sport do the same.

probably a top 5 sports debate, especially on this board..

I would say he goes in to the Hall As a Cowboy. he was our best DB for years. As soon as he left our defense became a dumpster fire. Rumor has it that he’s going in the Ring of Honor as soon as he retires.
