T. Terry (WR) FSU along with Marvin Wilson(DT) going undrafted surprised me.

Dylan Moses must of had a terrible medical also to go UDFA.

Didn't expect the Ravens to take Mason in the 5th, with it being a niche role.

JOK falling as far as he did(medical?).

Denver taking Surtain and then JaVonte Williams

Some that jump out are Daviyon Nixon going as late as he did, and Adarius Washington, Marvin Wilson and Dylan Moses going undrafted
Good list.
I'll be shocked if Washington, for example, does not make a roster.

I'd add the QBs
  • Fields falling all the way to 11
  • NE not having to do anything to get their guy Jones at 15...though why should I surprised.
  • Franks, Newman, and Buechele going undrafted
OT Alex Leatherwood being drafted at 17 seemed like a big reach

Daviyon Nixon's drop.
Marvin Wilson and Dylan Moses going un-drafted.
Deonte Browns drop.
Alaric Jackson going un-drafted.
I truly convinced once you get past a certain round the bigger name guys are asked not to be drafted.

Rather than be drafted into a bad situation, it’s much easier to pick where you go to find the best situation and max out the signing bonus.

Look at Jackson for example. Ends up goijg undrafted. But lands with the Rams. Guess what? Rams did not draft a single offensive lineman. Ends up with a $20,000 signing bonus and a clear path to a roster spot. Similar to Marvin Jones

49ers taking Lance. Come on, regardless of his physical traits, taking an FCS player, with ONE year of play essentially, from a school that regardless of who's the quarterback, wins the FCS championship year after year after year, being taken number 3 OVERALL?

HUGE risk.

At least to me it was a surprise...

I was a little surprised that NE did not trade up for a QB. I was also surprised that when New Orleans did not trade up to take a QB. Once Mac Jones and Justin Fields fell past Denver, I expected both teams to make a trade to get one of the QBs. NE got lucky that Jones fell to them before someone could trade up and take him. It's possible Chicago just offered the Giants more to get fields.

I was also a little surprised Denver did not take a QB. I find it hard to believe that they think Bridgewater will take them to a Super Bowl now or in the future. They may not get another shot at a QB like they had this year for a few years.

I guess I'm pretty shocked that Denver AND Carolina passed on Fields.

I don't know what either is planning at QB, but neither got any closer to a Super Bowl in the first round with a top-10 pick. That's hard to do.

This will definitely be a draft to look back on. With Covid and opt outs I think there will be a lot of players over and under drafted. Let's see which teams have good scouting departments.
