I said No. This and the Kelvin Joseph picks are the only picks I'll say No for.

I loved that they went CB in rounds 2 and 3. If you told me before the draft that we'd find up with Parsons, Cox, and two CBs drafted in the top 100, I would have been thrilled.

It's as simple as this. Quinn had his list of CBs and they were going to stick to the list and make sure they got two of them ranked high enough on that list. Maybe they tried to trade back, maybe they didn't.

I liked Moulden better than Wright and would have picked him. Just like I liked Samuel Jr. better than Joseph.

As a born and bred New Yorkers, I hate that Dan Quinn gifted a Super Bowl to the Patriots and I think he's a real loser coach. I hate he's the DC. But the bottom line is that he needs guys who will fit his system. He needs guys who he wants to coach.

I liked the rest of the draft outside of those two picks and even though I didn't want those two CBs, I love the fact that they went 6 defensive picks in a row.

LOL that you think you're a draft expert while the Super Bowl winning DC doesn't know what he's doing! Quinn thinks he's worth a 3rd. I'll take that. See where it goes.
LOL that you think anyone's a draft expert. Look at all of these misses by every team, every year. No one is an expert. So no man's opinion is better than any other man's opinion.

You trust Quinn because of something he done 8 years ago. He caught lightning in a bottle once and you trust him? Really? The NFL is constantly cemented in a show me state of mind. Some don't trust Belichick now that Brady is gone, but you trust Quinn.

I don't trust anybody in this organization from top to bottom. When they build another dynasty in Dallas, I'll trust them.

I like my Cowboys but...THEY NEED TO PUT A RING ON IT.

My worry is Quinn likes CB’s that fit a physical trait because he hit on a stud before like that, not necessarily The talent

Are you hitting the colleges for pro days? are you at the combine? Reading up on internet mock drafts doesn't make anyone an expert. Sure nothing is 100% and every team misses. But comparing these forum experts to the scout teams and money and time invested from NFL teams is ridiculous. Dan Quinn is the DC putting his stamp on the defense. He hit lightning in a bottle in Seattle and also took Atlanta as a HC to a Super Bowl. So trust in him carries a little more weight. The Cowboys drafted a lot of defense and it's on him and the rest of this coaching staff to make it work!!! Not some guy on the Cowboyszone who thinks he knows better.

Have no problem whatsoever with picking this kid.

My problem was the round he was picked.

But I'm hoping like hell he makes us all eat crow.

this I don't understand, Why worry about where he was picked, if this guy is a player they wanted and they think he's going to help their team win, why does it matter? I think most of those draft guys that cry about reaching only do it because they want to right about where guys should be picked. that doesn't matter at all. if he's here helping this season, nobody will care where he was picked.
Because of the wasted draft pick.

Not a ton of great players at that pick, historically. KJ Wright is the best by a big margin. Peart starts for @aria team but sucks. Douglas has played but never well. Edwards plays but not a ton.

He'll be gone before the final cuts. Another bogan pick from the bottom of a bottle.

Exactly my feelings.

They obviously saw something in him they really liked and got him. They know way more about the players than I ever will. He's a guy I will be rooting for, it's always a good story to see someone succeed when many think they will not.

Picked too early means there were better players available and we made a weaker choice. I hope he does well also, but I do believe there were better picks available.
IMO Dallas should've used some of those 3rd round picks to trade up. Barmore and 1 or 2 others were available for a trade up, but we didn't even try. That's what was wrong with taking him too early.

If they think the dude could be the next Richard Sherman then draft him in the fifth round like Richard Sherman (still would have been a reach).
