Is he a bad player? No.

But he represents what you want to get rid of. They basically cut their Antwan Woods of their secondary. If you are serious about contending then you need to have a whole team full of these type of players and our defense currently already does. We already have Kazee who's shown flashes of playing some good football in this league.

Sometimes y'all have to ask yourselves why these guys are cut to begin with.

The only question to be asked is, not why are they getting cut - but are they better than what you currently have on your roster.

I still miss the days of being able to kick around the junk at the local flea market on weekends though,, smoked turkey legs were the bomb.

No, it just comes down to money and lack of production. He transitioned from corner to safety the last couple of years. While he hasn't been horrible, he isn't a top safety, either. He would have had a $7+ million cap hit the next couple of years, but really wasn't worth that much as a safety.

no you have to ask why a starting captain is being CUT instead of traded..the guys not worth 7 at least?? you must ask that question..

he s most likely Jeff Heath..like he said above we need to first use the talent acquired in the offseason and see how they respond..Kazee, neal, wilson, and kearse plus some dbs listed at CB a few from the draft will be looked at for possible FS converson..at this point wed have to make roster spot for him and hes have to be better then anyone on the roster..if hes not worth a 7 id sy hes not..

ive never heard of this guy, period..hes being cut suddenly and without seeking a trade, somethings up..

Maybe because he signed a 4-year $27M contract in 2018 and isn’t worth the money. Like Elliott, Jaylon Smith, and Lawrence to mention a few.

No team is trading for that contract.
