I
f this report is true, and there is no reason to suspect that it isn’t, then Aaron Rogers is a truly despicable teammate. Trying to actively sabotage your own team is something that can’t be forgiven, and shows how selfish he is. This was happening last season. It’s all about him. He obviously could care less about everyone else in the locker room or on the coaching staff.

I’m glad Rogers only has a 1-4 record in NFC Title games, and thrilled that he lost to Brady last season, particularly after hearing this report. What a loser.

GB is all about Aaron Rodgers. Thats a .500 team without him at best. I highly doubt the report. Rodgers won't even talk to Brett Farve about the situation. Packers just offered to make him the highest paid QB in the league today. I think you are overreacting to a report that is probably false.

Why would you dismiss the report as being false? It’s from NFL Networks Mike Garafolo, who is a good reporter.

I agree that’s it’s so outrageous it’s hard to believe a QB would do that to his team, but it’s also in keeping with the pettiness and selfishness we are seeing from Rogers. Like him announcing just before the draft that he would like to play elsewhere, or him texting teammates and mocking the Packers’ GM by comparing him to Jerry Krause.

Rogers is a head case. He’s talented, no doubt, but he’s also a man-child.

so the fact he is best friends with several of those free agents last year has nothing to do with it? Come on there is business and there is life. Bach is his best friend on the team. You dont think as a friend he would want to give him a heads up he might not be back. Aaron Jones is a good friend. You dont think as a friend he would want to give him a heads up. This is nothing about undermining the team. It is being a true friend to his friends. What if those guys signed their contract then found out AR was leaving. You think they would not feel somewhat betrayed by their friend. SMH, think people.

I watched the video. Rodgers is not being accused of talking to prospective free agents from other teams. He told a few of his buddies like David Bahktiari that he might not be in GB much longer.........and this was AFTER GB drafted Jordan Love in round 1 last year. Bahktiari made his own decision and ended up resigning with GB anyway.
The beef is between Rodgers and the Packer GM who sounds like a complete idiot. Why would you draft a QB in round 1 when Rodgers has many years left and needs weapons and protection? I think to make that pick without any regard or input from your HOF QB is just being a prick.

I’m on Rodgers side with this one.

Yeah it’s a bad look, but would be far worse is to tell them you’re coming back, they sign and then you bail. College coaches do it all the time, I’d be happy to get a heads up as to what the QB is gonna do

If that was the case, I don't see what was so bad about it. It's be unfair to free agents to think that Aaron Rodgers is going to be there and they are going to a competitive team, and they sign away the next few years of their life and he jets.
