T. Terry (WR) FSU along with Marvin Wilson(DT) going undrafted surprised me.

Dylan Moses must of had a terrible medical also to go UDFA.

Didn't expect the Ravens to take Mason in the 5th, with it being a niche role.

JOK falling as far as he did(medical?).

Denver taking Surtain and then JaVonte Williams

Is that what it was? I was surprised he went undrafted so that would explain it.

"
Predicted to be a mid-round pick per last-minute draft projections, Moses' recent meniscus injury gave teams worry, according to ESPN draft analyst Matt Miller.

Unable to get a read on Moses medically, six teams took him off their board entirely, per Miller. Nick Saban said in November that Moses improved as the season wore on and had to get "his sea legs" back under him after missing a year of football"

Saban comments on it.
“It was all based on medical grades by the teams, which, frankly, was a little surprising to me. My time in the league, when guys came back and played, that usually got (them) out of that ‘5’ medical grade, which is ‘undraftable.’ It might have been a ‘4’ medical grade, which means a guy does have an injury that could be a problem in the future, but he’s come back and played with it, so we have to give him an opportunity.

I would say Moehrig dropping but I think many of us predicted that based on how the league values safeties.
Jok Dropping.
Ojulari Dropping.
Ifeatu Dropping.

Trey Lance going 3 overall!! Could be mega-bust. Dude played against Denucci! lol
(**Lance is in a good situation though.)

Grant, Holland getting drafted ahead of Moehrig though most everyone here loved Grant.

For us? How awful we were in the 3rd round.

Otherwise the 49ers taking Lance and Fields dropping.

The fact that we didn’t take JOK in the 2nd.
I still haven't heard any legit medical concerns. (I know there were rumors of a heart issue but I haven't heard it mentioned since he was drafted so I'm thinking it was made up or exagerrated) Lacking that, there should have been a stampede to trade up & get this guy.

JOK fell because he had questions about his heart. Teams were waiting for more test results to see if it was ok.
I guess I'm pretty shocked that Denver AND Carolina passed on Fields.

I don't know what either is planning at QB, but neither got any closer to a Super Bowl in the first round with a top-10 pick. That's hard to do.

My only prediction before this draft was that JOK would fall relative to the media rankings and that was without considering the rumors about a heart condition.

He bulked up to 221 for his pro-day but played at a lower weight.

If he was considered a Safety, then I don't think any teams would have rated him as 1st round pick at that position.

There have been a couple of similar size LBs in the past decade that turned out really good, but the probability of JOK being a 3 down LB AND staying healthy seems somewhat low to me.

Yeah I can't get past that. I look at this draft and see 3 real starters. Parsons, Joseph and Cox. That should please me but when you have 5 picks in the top 100 and use those three 3rds on the players they did it's hard to think they did a good job.

When you have three 3rds I'm expecting at least one of those players to look like a future starter. Who fits that bill? Maybe Osa but that's a stretch.

I think Osa should be a decent 3T. World beater, doubt it. But I think he could play at a slightly higher level than Maliek Collins, which is decent. My biggest question is does he become a guy you want to retain in 4 years. Or is he a disposable starter like Collins was. Thats one of my biggest gripes with our recent drafts. We have hit or passed our starter quotas, but most of it is disposable starters you let walk after 4 years. Thats why we went into this draft needing so much on the defensive side of the ball. Even our defensive "hits" havent been players worth retaining

I was surprised they got Parsons in a Trade-down, but more ticked off about Eagles jumping up to get ahead of Wash for the WR. It’s amazing both those teams took small WRs.

Then the giants trading for next years 1st was slick.

My last biggest surprise was the Eagles moving in front of Dallas in the 3rd for Milton Williams, that was alot of posters pet cat, it’s almost like the Eagles made moves just to piss off the division and spi on other teams draft boards.

Bohanna was awesome to get, meaning their gonna switch up the defense.

Were you by chance listening to theticket for that 3rd round? The eagles didn't trade up ahead of the Cowboys at pick 73, they actually traded down from pick 70 and then regretted it after they made the move. Alim McNeil was their guy and the trade down allowed the Lions to get him. Eagles then had to switch gears and took Milton Williams. Guys not real happy, see video:

I was a little surprised that NE did not trade up for a QB. I was also surprised that when New Orleans did not trade up to take a QB. Once Mac Jones and Justin Fields fell past Denver, I expected both teams to make a trade to get one of the QBs. NE got lucky that Jones fell to them before someone could trade up and take him. It's possible Chicago just offered the Giants more to get fields.

I was also a little surprised Denver did not take a QB. I find it hard to believe that they think Bridgewater will take them to a Super Bowl now or in the future. They may not get another shot at a QB like they had this year for a few years.
Yeah, Denver is now on my ***** list. Hope they win just enough to screw their draft slot yet without making the pmayoffs. They needed a QB WAAAAAY more than a CB at 9.
