I'm not sure I follow. I'm with you in that the timing of the release is sketchy and feels very calculated, but im still not sure what he actually lied about? The Packers and Rogers seem to be headed towards divorce.
He certainly lied and mislead in the very first statement that he said. He said that they didn't expect to be talking about Rogers tonight when in fact it was his idea to do the story during the draft.

Gotcha, and I have no issue with where you are coming from there. I'm not sure that means he should be fired, however i'm sure he has lost some credibility with players and his "sources" from around the league.

He really kind of didn’t. He just kept saying that plenty of people have been saying that Aaron wants out of Green Bay. THat they have been saying it since the super bowl and it is known.

He never said why he chose to do it on draft day. It frustrated Dan Patrick too.
He did it for clicks, at ESPN's direction, I'm sure. Thats what all these guys do

Listen to what? You didn't link anything.
ESPN draft before the Packers pick. he planned to say this like it was breaking news right before the Packers pick. He opened up that they didn't expect to be talking about this when he actually planned the whole thing.

I feel like you are whining about this for no reason at all. It's clickbait...which is basically the entirety of sports media

Yep, but I'm not whining. I was just asking because others seemed to be upset about it.

He's not going anywhere. He's one of the best insiders in the business. He didn't lie, and he released the information at a time it would get the most impact. That's what sweeps week is all about.

Of all the crap that comes out every day from so called sports journalists, this is what twists your panties?

Its just annoying b/c it happens too often. Reporters should report news they can verify and back-up, not start rumors and report "whispers".

If he violated HIPPA with JPP, making up some rumors won’t get him fired lol

HIPAA wouldn't apply. Whether it should is one thing, but it only applies to:

health plans, health care clearinghouses, and those health care providers that conduct certain health care transactions electronically.

Someone else violated HIPAA by divulging to Schefter, who then divulged to the world. Minor distinction, I guess, but that's the way it works.
