He's just reminding the people on this site of what they said last year around this time about Andy Dalton and that dumb video he had in his backyard lol. That and the David Carr videos....can't wait for them to stop being mentioned lol.
Exactly!! The Dak Haters even started post about Dak being a bad leader because Prescott allegedly didn't call CeeDee Lamb after draft:laugh:

Alwhile Lamb was tearing up Dak's Football field aka Backyard:omg:

Driskel fits the Dak Hater Eye Test..

GG was the best backup we had last season... > than Dalton IMO, they should have let him play more to get more experience and the backup situation might have been resolved already..

I agree.

The Cowboys are reluctant to sign anyone, unless he comes with a "team-friendly" deal. Maybe Driskel wasn't "friendly" enough. ;)

Stephen : “Hey Jeff, what kind of deal were you looking for?”

Jeff : “Sir, veteran minimum for one year should be sufficient. I’m looking to prove myself”

Stephen : “Oh wow. I thought you’d want to just play for free because were the Dallas Cowboys.”

Driskel exits the room

Stephen : “Dad. What does that guy think we are made of money here? Wow. I was going to offer him a 25% coupon to Whataburger but forget that guy ”

LOL -- I think you're on the right track here -- it might be a slight exaggeration but I wouldn't be surprised if you came close! :lmao:

Man he’s living off that little run he had. Would you believe two years ago people advocated getting rid of Dak in favor of Mullens...said he reminds them of Romo lol. So it doesn’t shock me people blindly still want him.

And that has paid dividends.....I don’t think we would have ever gotten that 1 whole playoff win in the last 5 years......we sure dodged that bullet.

Using this dumb *** logic I guess you'd also take Nate Mullens over Matt Ryan and Deshaun Watson too? SMH.

I don't think we can afford to go into a season with a "less than" mediocre backup, we saw what happened last year. If not him, we need someone that could possibly start in this league.

I believe a factor was maximizing Dalton’s value for a compensatory pick.
