OK they spent their #4 pick on an OT last year. My bad - thanks Google.

They didn't pick any OLine this year.

It’s difficult to say. I suppose they could elevate their teams. And if they are as productive as Dak and our offense , with their defenses , could become a bigger threat.

But when setting betting lines or favorites is usually based on prior history not on hope.

And I think that was the story line here. Is until further evidence Dak appears to be the most proven QB in our division. Which makes us the favorite.

If we were in any other division in conference it might not be the case.

The NFC East is considered the weakest division but it took a long time for this division to become that way, much longer than other divisions.

The NFC East was the strongest division for a long time. They still have most combined SB championships than any other division in NFL history.

It was the NFC east who defeated the Bills in four consecutive Super Bowls. Every Patriot SB loss has been at the hands of an NFC east team.

In the ten Super Bowls from 1987 to 1996, the NFC East won seven. If the NFC east is the worsed division right now, it would only be fair. However, don't expect it to last long.

That Giants team is ready to go. They have all the parts to win the east. They have a defense that can shut down the other three teams in the division and hold its own outside the division. Washington can do this also. Imo both the giants and washington have good head coaches that the players like and are going to battle for the east.

Seeing the schedules will be interesting this week because someone is going to win this division by a very narrow margin and when teams play their tougher games and who they finish with could determine who wins it.

I find it comical everyday reading how bad the giants are on here. The giants have 3 of the biggest humans you have ever seen across their front and have a really talented skilled group of guys in the secondary. Speaking of safety they have logan ryan, xavier mckinney and Jabrill peppers. All three are better than any of Dallas safeties. They are going to be excellent on defense.

You might want to check current rosters. The giants have brought in a ton of talent over the past 2 years.

Andrew Thomas #4 pick 2020 draft
Will Hernandez #34 pick 2018 Draft
Shane Lemieux #150 2020 Draft
Matt Peart #99 2020 Draft
Nate Solder Top Tier Free Agent

Last season Solder sat out for health reasons, Thomas was forced to start at left tackle. He had a hard time understanding the mechanics of how Columbo was teaching him to play and he struggled early on. Cameron erving was pretty average at right tackle and hernandez got covid then after he came back columbo was fired and dave deguglielmo took over he was benched for lemieux. The new offense, changes on the line and losing their top two running backs wrecked their offense for a while.

Losing zeitler hurts their interior line but they have a number of guys competing for those guard spots. They have talent all over that offense now and if all they need to do is manage average guard play they should be able to do it. Adding Kyle rudolph is going to help them up front also.

As long as our defense is average and Prescott stays healthy, we should be the favorites.
