They would be insane to trade a young cheap budding talent for a two year rental and pay him what he wants.
why not Denver and TB did ti its about SBS isnt it? hiring a hit man to get it done is worth it if that all the feel is missing..why develop a team for 3-5 years and hope for title then go grab the missing piece and get it NOW??..

I thought that Rodgers only wanted to go to the West Coast with his two top teams been San Francisco and Raiders. Maybe The Chargers would be in the mix if that’s the case?

That would be interesting. If you’re the Chargers with your promising new player in Herbert, do you deal him in a package for Rodgers if the offer is there?

Not a chance the Chargers make that trade. Herbert was by far the best rookie QB last year and arguably had one of the better rookie seasons of any starting QB we have seen in quite awhile (Mahomes was in his 2nd year). You do not even consider giving that up when you still have 3 cost controlled years to load up on pieces and make a big run.

very true that why the Raiders seem to me as the best choice GB gets him into the AFC, rogers get solid team in warmer climate not far from CA in need of QB..if he was going to settle to just get out Denver would be the other choice..

2 months ago many more choices, post draft/FA, not many

A lot of speculation about what the WFT would give up for Rodgers, but it would be the Packers setting the terms. Remember what the Rams gave up for Stafford? The price for Rodgers would be a lot more. If I were the Packers I would want picks and players. It would be the Herschel Walker trade all over again. There is no way I would give up Rodgers after the draft for a few picks. A first round pick 3 years from now from a team that will be in the playoffs isn't that valuable. Chase Young and 2 first round picks would be where I would start. Then I would negotiate over other players on the WFT roster, and I don't mean scrubs. But I think the Packers would trade him away from the NFC.

calling it like i see it..now go get hug and trade Jerseys with the enemy. Its what fake fans do, copy the new participation culture..

I cant do it won't say anythg nice about the enemy..but i still stand by my assessment. WFT one the division by one game by default and a lot of the appearance of having a GREAT defense was who they faced ..yes they have strong defense but if they face a more healthy NFCE this season that one game difference is gone..if they were a true threat last year they would have ran asway with the division like 10-6

7-9 lmao..great job!!!

we were flat at horrible in all areas and finished 6-10, REALITY...

Washington will win off defense. You win with defense in this league.

Until we show that we have a defense that can make a stop then I don't see how you can say we're the favorites.

We have no idea how Dak will be both physically and mentally. We have no idea if Zeke wants to try or not. We have no idea how the o-line will hold up even if healthy. We have no idea how Quinn will do. We have no idea how McCarthy will do.

There are too many unanswered questions right now to say the Cowboys are the favorites.

There isn’t a defense out there that isn’t going to be eating anything less than a 40-burger when they face Dak and Elliott. Go watch the Atlanta-Dallas game last year.

Cowboy defense just has to hold a team to under 40. The Mighty Quinn can do it. Go watch the Atlanta-Dallas game last year. Remember that was an unstoppable offensive juggernaut Quinn was facing.

What has Elliott done in the last 5 years to question his commitment? Other than those 5 incidents and the low key fading and the fumbling and poor blocking? Have you not seen @Rockport videos of ‘Zeke working it’ and ‘Zeke still working it?’ Working that stutter-step and juking garbage cans like no other.

Get the credit card out and buy some jerseys, hats, and tickets.

Ahh yes, the whole "you're not a real fan unless you think unrealistically about your team" argument.

That's how I know you're not confident with the point you was trying to make. You're showing your hand.

If they got Aaron Rodgers for free then yes that would be scary.

But if I'm them I need 1st rounders and 2 of those defensive linemen they have.

The only value they have are those defensive linemen who happen to be their strength.

So if they want to destroy their defensive line and draft capital to get Aaron Rodgers then I'd be for it.

Would they be favorites? Yep. But I'm more afraid of the Packers right now then I would be of that Commanders team.

That doesn’t mean that we can’t give credit where credit is due. But then again, that takes higher level thinking and reasoning and not everyone is up to that.

actually I didnt that said they were strong but the greatness is premature look what they faced..sorry we are the favorite and that not homerism..its realistic they beat us by one game when we were at our absolute worse..that not getting them kudos..sorry..not happening.

now go back to fake facts, hypotheticals, and knee jerk opinions at the zone..

Narrative Zone, please commence..

It would but how good would be their defense be if some of those players are traded for Rodgers. If I am the Packers I am not only asking for draft picks (at least 3-4 1st rounders), Chase Young, and a couple more of their starting defenders. WFT would never do it though.

Not worried for two reasons:

1. Ain't happening.
2. Teams' attempts to make themselves into instant winners doesn't usually work, witness the Eagles "Dream Team". How'd that work out?

Bucs did it with Brady, obviously, but that's an aberration, Bucs already had top weapons like receivers, WFT doesn't. I've no doubt Rodgers would put them as division winners, but don't think he'd be able to bring them to a SB win, Rodgers can only do so much. GB has had decent teams since 2011, but the "elite" Rodgers didn't get them to the SB either...

Rogers is over rated. If he was all that and then some…he would have won more nfc championship games…he is not Tom Brady health wise. He’s a soon to be 38 year old qb…we need to value winners not statistics.

Yeah they would pretty much own us for the foreseeable future.

If only we had a 40 million a year franchise QB. We might be able to compete.

How about Prescott, Gallup and a 1st in 22 for Rogers? Prescott would have to agree with it, as well as Rogers, but we'd finally have a QB that the majority of us don't hate, except personally of course.

He would go from being an arrogant and smug awesome person to being an introspective and self aware leader, just like that.

Blimey!
Rogers in Washington would make them, not us, favorites in the NFC East.
The WFT, with Rivera, become instant contenders. Mateys, a big/minor cause for alarm?

Smith went on to name all of Washington's young weapons Rodgers could use, such as Terry McLaurin, Antonio Gibson, Logan Thomas and J.D. McKissic, but his main reasons for why he'd like the fit is Washington's defense and the sorry state of the NFC East entering 2021.

Hollah and brings me a dollah!

We had the chance to get Rodgers.

Tts over. We decided to pay the Duck.

But thats not the problem. The problem are the Joneses.

So just let it go. We wont be in any kind of competition (except Forbes) for at least the next 2 generations.

Look for another sport or another team if you want to have fun.
