If Dak and Elliott are so good, why are some people here so scaredy cat? Highest paid QB and highest paid RB, and people are worried? You don’t pay a QB $40M/year and a RB $15M/year if they aren’t the best. Dak and Elliott got this. R-e-l-a-x.

Dak makes more money than Rodgers, more of a running threat, younger, a better leader of men, and healthier. Dak has more offensive weapons than Rodgers has in GB and would have in Washington. Too easy.

I don’t get the fear. If Dak and Elliott are so good, why fear the Washington defense, or any defense for that matter?

Because many fans on here just want to not give Dallas any credit at being good at anything. They just want to knock everything down. I mean, look, many of these fans rather lose and tank to get a better draft pick. they rather we not make the playoffs. For if it is a possibility, they start screaming, but we will be one on a done, tank, tank, tank.

I would rather make the playoffs, as you never know what will happen. But I guess that is too logical for some.

We had the chance to get Rodgers.

Tts over. We decided to pay the Duck.

But thats not the problem. The problem are the Joneses.

So just let it go. We wont be in any kind of competition (except Forbes) for at least the next 2 generations.

Look for another sport or another team if you want to have fun.

We had no chance to get Rodgers.
So just hate on.

Rogers is over rated. If he was all that and then some…he would have won more nfc championship games…he is not Tom Brady health wise. He’s a soon to be 38 year old qb…we need to value winners not statistics.
I like how people forget what he did against the Buccaneers last year in the playoffs....he was why they essentially lost lol.

I thought that Rodgers only wanted to go to the West Coast with his two top teams been San Francisco and Raiders. Maybe The Chargers would be in the mix if that’s the case?

That would be interesting. If you’re the Chargers with your promising new player in Herbert, do you deal him in a package for Rodgers if the offer is there?

hell no. Hebert is going to be in that next elite group of NFL QBs for the next decade. Rodgers is coming to the end, Hebert is just starting. No way in hell would I give up Hebert for basically anyone minus Patrick Mahomes at this point of his career.

I honestly wouldn't trade two firsts for Rodgers at this point. No telling how motivated he is to actually keep playing ball - he could decide he's done if the year doesn't go well for him and bolt.

You don't trade for a 36 year-old QB - you either get them free on the open market a la Brady or the compensation is so low that it's worth it. Neither are a factor there.

Blimey!
Rogers in Washington would make them, not us, favorites in the NFC East.
The WFT, with Rivera, become instant contenders. Mateys, a big/minor cause for alarm?

Smith went on to name all of Washington's young weapons Rodgers could use, such as Terry McLaurin, Antonio Gibson, Logan Thomas and J.D. McKissic, but his main reasons for why he'd like the fit is Washington's defense and the sorry state of the NFC East entering 2021.

Hollah and brings me a dollah!

Would you become a Washington fan? That would be great. Holla!!!

This coming from Stephen A? I'm shocked!

Rodgers can only go where they want him to go. If you're Green Bay and you own his ***, and you know what he's capable of, he either plays under his signed contract or he plays for the AFC. Then again, he's a threat to them there too. And I don't see him paying back a boatload of money just to get out.

My prediction? He stays right where he is due to a lack of options.

I don't see GB letting him go to the NFC and is probably checking the schedule to see when the AFC divisions come up. They're going to have some fans siding with Rodgers and having him back in this season or next might be dicey.

Rivera is a D HC, I would think Rodgers would want a HC more like Gruden.

I could see them checking CIN and LAC to see how happy they are with their youngsters and see if they wouldn't mind parting with them.

I can also see this all blowing over with the help of a new deal that makes him the highest paid.

If they do trade him, I think the Raiders is the landing spot.
The problem I see is Green Bay is between a rock and a hard place if Rodgers is actually willing to sit out the season, and the rest of his contract.

Just skimmed the article but it said nothing about compensation the Skins would have to give up. They would lose Young, probably another defensive player, and two 1st round picks.

The Skins’ offensive weapons mentioned don’t impress me.
McLaurin is a BA.

Yes, they are but they do have Love, one of the reasons Rodgers wants out.

I think the FO of the NFL wants this Watson, Rodgers and Wilson chatter to subside. 30M spoiled babies is what this is starting to sound like. Watson is taking care of himself but GB and SEA need to settle their QB's down. These spoiled QB's do get balance though with Fitzpatrick on his 9th team and happy to be there.

If Rodgers is a no show, I hope they don't trade him and don't pay him and he can take his smugness elsewhere. I will not miss the obligatory close ups of him in very game. Damn, it's worse than Kevin Costner used to be.

I know some were pissed at Prescott over his contract but he handled it like a pro as he will continue to do. Man, am I glad we don't have a Rodgers or Wilson. Any QB complaining about getting hit while holding onto the ball too long needs to just shut up. I used to like him and SEA but no more. And I've never liked Arrogant Rodgers.

Look for a new deal for him north of 45M a year.

Terry isn't the issue. ITs everything around him. Curtis Samuel....he just seems like a typical Redskisn hire. Before him it was the Seahawks receiver they got....I do like Scary Terry though. He's proving to be a legit #1 in this league.
