Would love to see it, as it'd mean the Cowboys probably had a great season!

Still, all of the fans and commentators that keep looking at the surface stats and not digging deeper on this offense need to understand that there needs to be a big improvement vs defenses ranked in the upper half of the league.

In the last few years, our offense has been below average vs top 10 defenses.
This is measured by how the rest of the league does vs those same defenses....so not cherry-picking.
Again--We are worse than more than half the league....on offense vs the better defenses.
You read that right.

An absolutely loaded offensive roster should help resolve that.
Looking forward to seeing Dak behind a healthier line and with those triplets at WR to go with Zeke. Scoring should not be a problem.

He’d have to get us to the 2 seed at least to even be considered.

Too many QBs throwing for high 30’s and low 40s TD passes on winning teams.

Dak’s lucky to hit high 20s.

Dak's last full season was 30 and he has progressed yearly. No reason to think he can't smack 36 tds & 12 wins.

Dak was playing at an MVP level last year before his injury.

He set the all-time NFL passing record thru the first 5 games despite missing part of the last game and playing behind a line with two raw tackles.

He was also the only player in NFL history to have 3 straight games with at least 450 yards passing, and have a game with 3 rushing TDs and at least 400 yards passing.

Impressive.

Yeah but he put up over half of those TDs against 3 teams who were 3 of the 5 worst team in football so I’d say that’s an outlier.

The offense had a lead at halftime against the Rams and was a blown OPI call away from winning that game.. The offense also had a 14-7 lead after the first quarter against the Browns.. The three more would be interceptions dropped are a product of faulty memory or your own anti-Dak agenda.. If the defense gives up 41 points in three quarters against an opponent.. they ARE going to get the lion share of the blame. The drive lengths tell the story.. 69 yards, 75, 34 , 51, 71, 70. You want to blame the offense for the one drive fine.. Who gets the blame for the 5 other drives? Especially the 4 that were at least 69 yards. Please stop minimizing how bad the defense was last year. They were terrible.. at one point they were on pace to set NFL records for points allowed. Only a string of backup QBs late in the season saved them from that honor.

so the Dallas offense did not turn the ball over vs Cleveland. Got it.

With Pappy gone who is going to be the #1 Prescott hater? I mean critic

you’re gonna have to pick up your game
Is he gone or just charging himself up? Takes a lot of energy to stay that consistent and focused. Then again, maybe after Prescott got his new deal, he paid Pappy what he owed him?

Ever since Bucky started writing for the team he's been waxing poetic on all things Cowboys.

I like him. I think he's outstanding covering the draft and I'd even hire him to GM my team but I don't take him seriously when the topic is the Cowboys.
Oh my Dak Haters! This is weak "like sauce"....please bless us with more off-season "like bait" threads...SEE BELOW for pre-Pandemic @Risen Star

I have to start a thread on this rather than have it buried in another. I want to see who has a problem with this other than the reigning, defending, Likesweight Champion of the World.

CeeDee (YAC) was asked if he's heard from his new teammates on offense yet. Since, ya know, it's been a month since the draft. He said he's heard from Zeke, Cooper and Gallup but hasn't talked to Prescott. No contact from the great leader of the team to his shiny new alpha WR weapon as we approach June.

Here's the video. The 4:05 mark.

Oh I know people will rush to his defense but I won't pay any attention to that. I want to hear from those that see this as completely inexcusable from the guy wanting to be paid as the franchise QB.

Character is what you do when nobody's watching, bros

Please show me where I said the offense didn't turn the ball over vs Cleveland. No one has said any such thing.. I am simply rejecting the narrative that the offense waited until the 4th quarter to show up and all the scores were all a result of turnovers. It's simply not true.. Any defense that gives up 5 70 yard drives doesn't get a pass. P.S. one of the turnovers was an end of game heave after the defense had just given up a 51 yard TD on a reverse.

Exactly. Dak had on turnover that actually mattered. The last one was when the game was already over and he was forcing passes.

people want to blame the QB when he has one meaningful turnover and the defense gives up 40 freaking points.

it’s a joke.

I suppose the turnovers is what allowed Cleveland to rush for over 300 yards..... 300

Yeah I'm not about to sit still for people trying to blame the offense for the defense giving up 300 yards on the ground and 49 points.. GTFOH..

Yeah, another year of worrying about Dak's stats more than the Cowboys success.
The best 8-8 quarterback who ever played.
If you don't believe me, just ask his brother.
Well he’s the Cowboys QB for the next 4 years at least so spare us your school girl whining and come back after he’s gone little girl.
