For now, I'm thinking 11-6. I'll revisit this during the preseason, but that's my current prediction.

2021 Cowboys schedule
predictions
1: at Buccaneers_L
2: at Chargers_W
3: Eagles_W
4: Panthers_W
5: Giants_W
6: at Patriots_L
7: Bye
8: at Vikings_L
9: Broncos_W
10: Falcons_W
11: at Chiefs_L
12: Raiders (Thanksgiving)_W
13: at Saints _W - they don't have Drew Brees, and I think our defence will be gelled by this point. I don't think the oline for the Saints will hold up. Should be a fun night for me at MFF.
14: at Washington_L
15: at Giants_L
16: Washington_W
17: Cardinals_W
18: at Eagles_W

We did add some valuable defencive players in the draft. Quinn may not be a great HC, but I think he's a Wade Phillips type of DC. As long as the defence can be at least average this season, we'll be fine. I think our ST will be better. I think our D will improve. So, that should get us to somewhere between 10-6 and 12-5 imo.

We have no idea how those rookies will be. We don't know if they're valuable or not until they show it.

Again, always my go to when I see someone say "Well, if the defense is just average then we will be fine". If that's the case, then tell me what happened Dak's last full season in 2019? We had the #1 ranked offense and a top 12 defense. We went 8-8 and didn't make the playoffs.

10-7 should get cowboys in playoffs, either as WC or Div champ.
I kinda think 2 teams might end up tied, and div goes to team with tiebreaker.
hasnt happened in long time, so it is due.

Of course anything could happen, but looking at last 2 seasons, and how they started 1st 4 games last year,
10-7 would be marked improvement.

Our Boys 2021 schedule is intriguing because they are one team whose strength of schedule does not change at all whether it is based on 2020 win totals or Vegas 2021 projected win totals. Either way, their schedule ranks as the second easiest in the league heading into next season.

To top it off, the Cowboys have just two NFL teams on their 2021 schedule that are projected to win 10 or more games. However, both of those games are extremely tough being they're in Tampa Bay & Kansas City.

We go from literally having one of the worst defenses in the history of the sport to the Super Bowl one year later in the minds of a lot of these people lol

I will say 11-6 or 12-5 with two losses right off the gate. I think we are going to have a hard time with Justin Herbert and another year on his belt and that Cannon arm of his, the Chargers have given us problems as of late and that was with a 50 year old Philip Rivers. He will be airing it out quite a bit against our suspect secondary so if anything we upset the Buccaneers in a let down super bowl hangover game while they sip on their own Kool-Aid that day.
