this is strange to me, you have LUV which caused all this controversy that you traded up into the first round to get and what hes not good enough to back up AR or start if AR holds out..why again you trade up grab controversial player that pissed off your elite HIF current QB and yet hes not ready?

something smells of regret but odor of fish..

But out of all the FA QBS out there. Nick Mullens or Bortles as backup, I wouldn't be mad for a game or 2.

Ok. You are crazy. J/K.

I don’t think Bortles is the answer. Jacksonville ruined him.

Keeping seeing Mullen's love .......here's what's out there

Honestly I have no idea from this group, they all have fleas (lol)

Top remaining free-agent quarterbacks in 2021
1) Nick Mullens, San Francisco 49ers
2) Brian Hoyer, New England Patriots
3) Robert Griffin III, Baltimore Ravens
4) Blaine Gabbert, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
5) Matt Barkley, Buffalo Bills
6) Blake Bortles, Los Angeles Rams
7) Sean Mannion, Minnesota Vikings
8) A.J. McCarron, Houston Texans
Out of these guys I would like RG3 or Bortles. But overall I would like GG to be the backup. Save money and I think he can get it done with a healthy offensive line.

Ok, yes you’re crazy. Did you not see Gilbert play last year? Apparently not.

Did you see him play more than 1 game? I saw Nick Mullen play more than 1 good game. You folks trip me out with the 1 game superstars. He played well, probably the best game he's played in his life

Gilbert has 1 td in his 6 year career . Mullen has started 16 games and has 25 tds in 3 yrs

I like Mullens and always have. Bring him in and let the competition begin. He will cost more than Gilbert so that could be an issue.

RG3 is terrible, he barely could function in Baltimores offense which gives the QB a lot of liberty to ad lib.

Everyone has Kurt Warner visions dancing in their head. Gilbert Grape as a starter for any stretch are sure losses.

Gilbert did a good job against the Steelers. He looks like he can get it done.
