I can here the Dak crybabies saying oh he hasnt had a chance to get back to game speed. He gets no excuses in my book. That greedy SOB is gonna get what he deserves.
40 million a year? Lol like Romo said, he'll be just fine.

True, heck Dak critics have gone after him since he took over for Romo and use the constant "no excuses" and that was as one of the lowest paid starters in the NFL. Dak is going to catch heat no matter what, may as well take advantage of his FA payday. No excuse? lol when have his critics ever given him an excuse?

I wont say fans care more about winning than Dak but I doubt he'll feel anything like (thats what you get).

I think Dak cares a lot about winning and performing. I also know he will continue to catch hell and come under fire from his critics until or unless he can help this team to a championship. I said the same with Romo as he would come under fire for playing golf, or going to Cabo or dating Jessica Simpson, or wearing his hat backwards. Was Romo completely to blame because the Cowboys did not win a SB? I don't think he was but as QB he shared in the failure. Cowboy fans are hungry for a SB and QB tends to be the face of the team so Dak will continue to catch hell until or unless he helps get this team to a SB. Just the facts of how things go in Dallas

Have you watched their QB? hes gonna be elite if he plays like last year.

If there is any organization as dysfunctional as the Cowboys, it is the Chargers. Yes, they have a promising, young QB, but when the expectations are high for the Bolts, they typically fall flat on their faces. JMHO

Lowest paid at one time and still couldn't win anything. So I have a brilliant idea let's give him 40 mil and the team will get better.
Lol that's the mentality if a drunk!

They are the AFC cowboys but they don't get the hype Dallas gets. I do know that Rivers owned the Cowboys.

Yep he is gonna be fine like Romo as long as Daks ankle holds up. But the Cowboys will suffer the damage from Daks greed with the unwillingness to let go and keep trying to find a top 5 QB.

That’s not fair

Easy excuse for Dak to start 0-2

:muttley:

I can see it already.

The Cowboys lose 40-31 and we get 10 pages telling us how it's the QBs fault that the defense still can't stop anyone. :muttley:

Dallas scores 0 in Q1, 3 in Q2, down 27-3 at half on 1 Dak fumble and one INT before losing 40-21 and we get 10 pages telling us how “the defense couldn’t stop anyone “ and “Dak was bringing us back” and how it’s the defences fault that Dak turned the ball over at our own 15 and 20 yard lines in Q1

Why not? It was Romos fault when we put up 48 points in 2018 and lost.

If the defense fails, it will likely be because of Lawrence $20M and Jaylon $10M failing to make an impact again. But why even bother looking at those two.

Keep your eyes focused on offense. Dak $40M, Cooper $20M, Elliott $15M, Martin $10M, Collins $10M, Tyron $10M. $105 of the $182M cap on 6 offensive players. Any loss and there should be 100 pages holding these guys accountable. Injuries are no excuse.

Yep. And THAT is the reality here.

Washington twice in two weeks in December?

Never seen that.
it has happened few years back also with the eagles.
I dont like it, as the team who is better at THAT point will probably win both games.
Early and then late is better for div opponents.

but it is what it is. they have to deal with it.
If wash starts out great then fades, it will be good for the cowboys.

Can you please elaborate on this? Im looking to go to a game this season.
I go to 2-4 games per year and I live in northern Ca. Buying tickets is a mixed bag. Depending on the game and time of year, it is sometimes better to wait till the last minute to buy tickets. Ive waited till as late as 30 minutes before kickoff. Sometimes you get tix cheaper that way. I dont think that is going to be the case this year.Due to covid, people dying to get out to live events AND people having extra cash to spend, I dont see tix dropping like in past. As a matter of fact, they might be more expensive.

Because I have been doing this for a while, I have an idea of what I want to spend and since im coming from Ca, if I find tix for a price im happy with, I get em. 5 years ago, I could search and find lower level end zone tickets for 225-250 range at AT&T. Not a chance in todays world. Sitting in upper level seats between the 20s will cost you between 150-275, depending on the yard line and row. Anything between rows 1-10 are significantly more expensive than row20 and up. Who the opponent is and how the team is doing play a factor in price also.

Ive also sat all over the damn place in these stadiums, and I have found sitting between the 30s if im in around row 10 suits me just fine. I prefer that over lower bowl end zone. On a 3rd and 1 from endzone view, you cant tell how far the runner got because he is running at you. Sitting up higher you can see plays open wide up and see everything. SO, since I do go to that many games and need to deal with hotels and flights, im always trying to save as much money as possible.

I have decided we will go to New Orleans every single time the boys play there... its that much fun for us. BUT, Saints tickets against Dallas is one of the most pricey tickets to get. The stadium is just LOUD and one of my favorite venues. So, I found middle end zone seats upper level row 6, which is about 14 rows lower than last time we went, and I jumped on them because I think I wont get a better deal by waiting. Its kind of like playing the stock market. Since I do this often... I think I have a good grasp on tickets prices and what works for me. If you need any help or have questions, feel free to ask.

We have our hotels booked already for the opener and saved a ton, because the hotels raise their prices after the schedule comes out. We booked the Marriott that is about a 30 second walk from our tailgate location and a 5 minute walk to the stadium. I dont have to pay for parking and when game ends, im in my hotel, showered and in bed before 95% of that stadium gets out of their parking lot.

In new Orleans, our hotel is on the corner of Canal and Bourbon Street.... a perfect location for me, and a short walk to the game.

How long to fly from Dallas to Tampa? 2-1/2 hours?
How long to fly from Dallas to LA? 3-1/2 hours?

Not that big a deal in my opinion. Enough time to get a good nap.
Nah LA to Dallas is 2.5, it’s really not a bad flight at all either way. Don’t think it’ll be a factor any more than any back to back road game.

He is paid 22 mill this year, a lot better than a Franchise tag at 37 mill
