I am thinking the opposite, cowboys start off inconsistent, inept at times, barely stay even or 1 game above 500, and then gel at some point,
and finish with some win streaks.

I think the o-line will eventually fall apart and the defense will not be good enough to compensate for the compromised offense. They always struggle against the Saints and Cardinals, Washington's defense will dominate our o-line twice, we will lose at the Giants because they will be healthier and the team will just be ready to pack it in when the play the last game against the Eagles.

If you recall we had to drive nearly 80 yards for every score. Then all the missed fgs would give other team a short field. Garrett took forever to cut the kicker.

May fantasies of 12+ wins and SB titles abound, yet again.

The Dallas Cowboys are a poorly-run, family organization. Those fantasies will not come to fruition until that changes, which sucks because I'll probably die before that happens (if it ever does).

Enjoy your dreams. I'm too old to bother indulging them anymore. This team is what it is - underachievement, hype, dollars, and watching other teams win titles.

Depends on how long the o-line holds up, I'll go with an optimistic 10-7 winning the east and I'll go one more and predict we win one playoff game providing some of us a delusional vision of things to come.

We have as “easy” of a schedule as you’ll see in the NFL. We have by far the best quarterback and offensive talent in the weakest division in the league, our rotating NFC division matchup is the second weakest division in football now that Brees is gone, and our home schedule is such that we’ll be favored in all 8 games most likely.

Yes our 4 toughest games are all on the road, but if we can just go 3-6 or 4-5 on the road we’ll win the division.

Teams that were bad last year may be much better this year, just like the cowboys.
you cant judge teams by what they did last year.
Also they all will want to beat the cowboys, and will play their best game when playing cowboys.
So there are no easy games or sure wins.
