It’s just based on last years record. Chill. I agree every year is different.not by real charts and its not who you play its when and where you play them..its bad draw IMO..
I saw the nfl ranking you are going of of but saw another that had different formula for ranking and TB had the easiest schedule..who knows really but the road games and when we go play the cold outdoor stadium weather teams all the prime time games short weeks make sit much tougher schedule then it appears..
se 2019 2nd half for reference..brutal
'Avery' - KUDOS to you for that reference... Chuck Barris and Gary Owens (among others) set up that production to be soo baadd -- that it was "good" - its popularity spread by word of mouth.NFL obviously thinks the NFCE is going to be a GONG SHOW so gonna schedule that divisional chase for the end.
'Revenge tour'.
The league should set up the schedule where all 32 teams have their bye week in a two or three weekend period around the halfway point of the season to allviate any perceived - REAL scheduling advantages and disadvantages.11 straight games to end the season... yikes man.
I mean, they'll have the 10-day break after the Week 12+13 Thursday games (including Thanksgiving)
But still
Last season went down in shambles...time to get revenge...'Revenge tour'.
I'll bite....what happened before that you what to the label the upcoming season with that name?
You must be fun at parties.6-11
Then Tyron, Cooper, Gallup, Jaylon, LVE, Zeke, and a few others leave after the season.
While we pay our quarterback like a European soccer star.
There's no end to the losing in sight.
your A plan is what I suggested last year. I think it is the best and fairest way to do the byes. should happen week 8 and 9 right in middleThe league should set up the schedule where all 32 teams have their bye week in a two or three weekend period around the halfway point of the season to allviate any perceived - REAL scheduling advantages and disadvantages.
My A-Plan ----applied to this 2021 season for example:
Week 8 -- Sunday, October 31st___bye for 16 teams
Week 9 -- Sunday, November 1st__bye for the other 16 teams
My B-Plan----again - applied to this 2021 schedule as a hypothetical:
Week 7 -- Sunday, October 24th__bye for 10 teams
Week 8 -- Sunday, October 31st__bye for 12 teams
Week 9 -- Sunday, November 1st_bye for 10 teams
In summary: the basis \ foundation of my proposals:
17 games over an 18-week period___mid-September to mid January = 4 months
My B-Plan: Each season, every team plays 6 GAMES MINIMUM before their bye week__ and every team not on that schedule plays a MAXIMUM 8 GAMES before their bye week.
My A-Plan: Every season, half the NFL teams have the bye after their 8th game, and the remaining half get their bye after game 9.
Turns out an odd number of games is dumb
Back to back road games to start the year coupled with our last game on the road? 4 of 5 road games in the middle of the year?
The NFL loves us to have our late year divisional games be on the road.
