These Dak stat mongrels are so pressed to make Dak look like a top QB. It's almost like they are related to him. What they fail to realize is one good tight window throw for a TD against a good defense is better than 500 yards passing against a weak team that you have pounded into submission. If Dak could of just managed one TD pass against the Saints, Jets, or Eagles the Cowboys would of won the division and been in the playoffs.
You are right. I have never seen a Cowboy’s QB judged on meaningless stats instead of wins. Wins means nothing now. Dak’s inflated, garbage time stats are all that matters to them.

Common sense should tell you that Dak and the offense should respond to some of the opposing team’s scoring drives instead of waiting until the game is out of reach. Dak certainly has the opportunity because the offense gets the ball after the opposing team scores. There was several games where the defense held teams to reasonable scores and Dallas still lost. You know about those losses because they have been listed here several times. Dak and the offense couldn’t score and the team lost.
Bingo.

This user brought up the Browns game and said "The score was 14-7 in the first quarter" and used that as argument about Dak scoring early points in games. Neglecting to mention that the Browns scored 28 points to our ZERO in the 2nd quarter and then 10 points to our ZERO in the third quarter.

Romo was defended the same way.

The put up all those pretty stats and that seemed to be enough.

God forbid a fan defends the QB of their team from people who don’t know what they’re talking about.
The once proud Dallas Cowboys fanbase used to expect more from their players then just 8-8 seasons with pretty stats.

It's sad to see the fanbase become so number driven over wins driven.

That's why we get a QB with 1 Wild Card win to his name coming off a broken leg signing the 2nd biggest contract ever. Because pretty numbers run this franchise more then wins. It used to just be the front office blinded by it, but it seems the fans have put the shades on too.

....and your opinion matters about as much as a fart in a hurricane.
And you’re such a lowly simpleton that you don’t know fact from opinion.

You WERE ridiculed, Village Laughingstock. That isn’t an opinion.

Keep embarrassing yourself.

Much is made of our first quarter scoring I wonder how many actually know how we ranked
19th in the league and 1 point per game from being in top 10

Just to teach you a few things here.......cowboys scored 14 in the first half. Double that.....28 points total. Mahomes and the chiefs were one of the top offenses scoring 29 per game. 28 points is great and should get you at least 10 wins minimum with a competent defense.

at 31 points given up by the D in the first half, game is pretty much over. Yet dak and the offense actually made it a game coming back in the 4th. Problem is that the d gave up another 18 points in the 2nd half and got run over for 300 yards rushing.
Does Dak's fumble in the 2nd qtr, and his interception in the fourth, inside the Cleveland ten yard line, matter?

Offense puts up goose eggs in the 2nd and 3rd qtr and Dak throws an INT from the 8 yard line when a TD could have gotten them within 3, and given them a chance.

None of that matters to you? It is entirely the defense's fault? It was 41-14, in the 4th qtr ( aka, garbage time) when this great comeback started. Uhmm... almost comeback, I mean.

it all matters thats why 2020 is hung on the coaches, players, and FO..nothing went right..time to let it go..

definitely wasn't all defense a lot of te bad defense was because of the short fields the ST and offense stuck them with as well as defending far too many extra possessions over TOS etc,...

yet somehow as ugly as it all was the WFT somehow one game better is getting some kind of praise around.here..smh

Your bottom lip’s still quivering.

Probably because you were ridiculed by dozens of posters here, Village Laughingstock.

“WAAAAH WHY DID YOU START A THREAD ABOUT OUR FRANCHISE QB!”

Must suck to be publicly shamed as a whiny female dog. Good luck with that.
