Anyone want to kick the tires on Kerrigan coming to Dallas?
I know he's getting up there but the guys was really good for them the past decade. I think he's worth a look see.

Always enjoyed watching Kerrigan. I’m from DC and he does a lot of charity events and good things around town.

Sadly, he’s likely looking for a decent payday. Similar to Justin Houston which makes them out of our price range.

I think he will end back up in Washington on a cheaper deal.

I would for sure.

The fact that there are multiple guys like him available means he (or one of the others) shouldn't be particularly expensive.

Nah for the price he isn't as good as he was, but still too expensive.

Think he'll find a team but not sure if it'll be here.
IIRC he played the LDE/SOLB for the Commanders. I assume the same position D-Law will be in on nickel formations at least when he go 4 DL.
Not sure how often we'll be truly in a 3-4 formation to really think about adding a 33 year old guy for a handful of snaps

Would be open to signing him for an Everson Griffin type deal. He’s still an effective pass rusher on limited snaps.

Had 5.5 sacks while playing only ~38% of the defense’s total snaps (C. Young 73%; Sweat 66%).

Ryan Kerrigan....great guy but the Washington Electricians are purging reminiscent of the last administration

Kerrigan is your quintessential under the radar good player. He's not great but he is very good. We would be idiots not to take a look at him. If for no other reason than having him revved up to stick to his old team twice a year.. Having him get 2 sacks a game against them alone would be worth his salary. He also exudes professionalism and work ethic which this team needs all of it can get.

agree hes Crawford, soem will disagree but that how he was used in WFT and at his age and cost not great fit here..rather go young..

unless he want s to come in league minimum and play 30% of the snaps in a role position

hard pass

I'd like to have him at an affordable price but he's likely not willing to afford us a team-friendly deal. It wouldn't hurt to check him out, though. You never know when a player might settle for less than he first set out for. That's probably our best shot at signing him, though. We'll probably prefer to let our youngsters do it for considerably less.

Little known fact, Eagles were 3rd in the league in sacks last year.

But sometimes third just isn’t good enough

Yet another reminder for people who constantly whine about D-Law's sack numbers why sacks really aren't nearly as important as people make them out to be.
