I'm for it. He fits the type of guy I want....he's good enough to probably win a game or two if you need him to but if you need him for a majority of the season he's bad enough to keep your draft pick in the top 10.....i'm for it.
Ultimately I think this is more so about being a camp body then actually making this roster gameday but I honestly don't see how anyone could say Gilbert is better....

He’s a McCarthy guy. Gilbert is good but he will be 30 in July. Not sure how they view him long term

Hundley went 3-6 in 2017 as a starter in Green Bay when Rodgers was hurt with 9 TD passes and 12 interceptions.
Not sure he's the ideal backup, but he's somebody to push Garrett Gilbert for the role.
