As of now, we will get a 4th for Andy Dalton.
No other NFCE teams are getting any, so far.

Yes, I am doing this to irritate those that will jump on this as negative don't count type crap. :lmao:

Players may get released and will change things up possibly. If Basham and Neal get released we will get a 5th and a 6th. Unless Awuzie or Erving are released. Then not sure how it all changes. But doubtful they are released unless an injury.

If this is accurate, I would cut Basham and Neal. I don't see either as long term answers here, especially after the defensive focused draft that we just had. An extra 4th, 5th and 6th next year sounds nice. Sounds real nice.......

A fourth for Dalton is like the custard in a Boston Cream Donut.

Top 2 priorities next year are defense and restocking OL where necessary.
If Gallup walks, WR will be on the list too, I imagine. We've gotten very accustomed to having 3 good weapons to throw out there at WR these last couple years. Unless the 2022 free agent class gives us another Randall Cobb-type of bounty.

It's just too early to tell.

  • We could lose Jaylon (cut), LVE, and Neale which would put LB depth high on the list.
  • None of our rookie CB's show enough then we could need to go back to the well at CB
  • Safety is probably gonna be high on the list given Kazee is on 1 yr and we've only invested a 6th on a corner convert
  • If we lose Gallup we're likely looking for a starting slot WR (Lamb shifted outside)
  • If Gregory is not re-signed, a starting RDE might be required
  • Tyron Smith could call it quits requiring a starting LT
  • The hype on Bohanna may not stack up requiring a 1T
  • Biadasz seems to be assumed to progress but he might not work out and we then need a center
  • Connor Williams is out of contract and I think McGovern will be in his final year so guard could be needed
  • TE isn't 100% clarified either, we could go in that direction
