What Risen was referring to was in certain situations when Cooper needs to elevate his game he has not been able to do it.

Overall the season on the whole he has delivered, but in the "big" game, he has not.
That is not an Amari thing. That is a Cowboy thing!

No, it just so happened in the Atlanta game and the Seattle game the Cowboys were down by a huge amount. When teams are up by a huge amount they naturally play prevent.
He had 10 catches and 80 yards against the Rams...were they in prevent too that game? Or the Browns game?

Cooper was great long before he came to Dallas you should check again. Dak owes Cooper.
Yeah he was lighting the league up with his 280
Receiving yards....no teams offered a 1st for him but Dallas because he was playing like a bum. Just like no one wanted Randall Cobb. Dak saved both of their careers do your research. Then research your research.

So hilarious where these trolls try to say that a team is in prevent in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. LOL

In those 3 high scoring games last year with Dak the Cowboys were within one score late in all the games. Browns game Dak brought them all the way back to within 3 points with 2:18 to go in the 4th. If the defense stops the Brown we probably win that game. But alas they give up a 70 yard end around TD run to ice the game.

Seattle game Cowboys were up 31-30 with 4 minutes to go. Seattle never had a lead more than 8 points.

This #1 theory and angle by the Dak troll is 100% a total and complete fabrication.

Amari is a beast. Great player. He saved our season when we traded for him and completely transformed our team in a way I have not seen a receiver do.

He had 92 receptions for 1114 last year with the likes of Ninucci and company. That’s the opposite of shrinking. Sure, he’s not the leader that Irvin was but there’s more than one way to lead.

He talks about leadership and you respond with stats. You have no concept of leadership. If you did, you’d know Cooper displays no type of leadership at any level. He punches his time card and does his job. Period. He’s a ghost mentally and physically in road games. Or he’s just shut down mentally from running the same 3 passing routes from our 1991 passing offense.

You haven't looked at Jerry's trading tendencies towards WR's.
And you haven't looked at why the Raiders were ready to get rid of him.
Spoiler! Performance.
Probably the only WR trade Jerry did that was worth it seeing what it did for Dak and the team. Reason he got paid like a top WR is Jerry like most people understood the props that Dak need to help him because he is that good. Maybe the Raiders with the the new 10 year HC he wanted draft capital and not he was bad, Cooper took less to play for Dallas in free agency and speaks alot about Dak, I will stick to my view you are entitled to yours, main point is Dallas is a much better team with him.

You know this how, you have info from the Raiders?
You hold your opinion all I know is Cooper got his money first , the raiders wanted draft capital for their new staff. Great trade for a great receiver not a bum like you want to say because you just can't admit how much he did to save Dak. It's ok you keep dreaming and at least we get to see how it ends, hopefully.

the reason these trolls bring up prevent defense, its their only argument and they don't understand NFL football.

There’s 13 guys widely considered superior both statistically and by value to their team than Amari Cooper. Which 4-9 do you have Cooper as outperforming?
wow, imagine if Dak had one of those top 10 WRs and what he could do...

you just proved how much of a troll you are. you added nothing to this thread, just looking for reactions.

you are done!
I appreciate your name calling, as for added , you asked I answered, just remember garbage yards mean nothing. No reaction wanted but you chimed in so it looks my view is ok. You do not have any idea of what a forum is, look it up and educate yourself.

BS.

Keenan Allen is great, but misses a ton of games.

Julio is a beast, but on the downside of his career, also constantly injured.

Jefferson is a star in the making. He needs more than one year of production though.

Jarvis Landry is a nice possession/short game WR. Coop has a more dynamic game.

Allen Robinson is comparable and could be better in a better offense, but isn't.

While I agree on MT, it's hard to put him there having not even played last year. Now we will see what he can do without Drew Brees.
