Only in Dallas can a guy who has gone over a 1000 every year he has been in Dallas be called over rated. Cooper is one of the top WR in the league and I am thankful he is here and wants to be here. Some of the things like he is not animated on the field is a joke, who care if he not a prima donna. The man goes out and does his job. He has missed 3 games in 6 years

As I JUST said....Sometimes it's has to be more than just "doing your job".

But anyway....Coop is gaining respect, despite fickle Cowboys fans:

What video evidence? Just go look at the stats available online.

1990: 3 games with 1 catch & 0 TDs; 3 games with 0 catches
1991: at Philly 1, for 4 yards & 0 TDs
1992: at Phoenix, 1 for 18 yards & 0 TDs
1993: at Atlanta, 1 for 5 & 0 TDs
1996: at Wash, 1 for 7 & 0 TDs; vs. Wash 1 for 5 & 0 TDs
1997: vs. Giants, 2 for 13 yards & 0 TDs
1998: at KC, 1 for 9 & 0 TDs; at Phoenix, 0 for 0; at Wash, 1 for 14 & 0 TDs
so one game year that normal for a player

AC has flat disappeared for 8 road games in 2019 EIGHT in one season with low to no stats.. he takes off plays when he knows he not #1 target etc his foot i mean when guy was it Woods that said players do not go 100% on every lay and is very correct , he gets fried for it but AC does this when hes not in the paly or its run he doesnt go full speed or sell the pass more..

games where hes not fed early he tends to fade..

his simply not passionate enough to want to be the best just being good seems to be enough..

ac is good hes not 20mil good and 1k yards is no longer the goal post , pass happy league top payers are getting 1250-1400 yards

look t those great seasons Dez had what 1300-160-0 3 straight years with double digit tds..he was a monster he was s super star

AC hardly ever goes off like that , doesn't score a lot, doesnt seem to give 100% effort every game, ie again lacks drive and motivation consistently

yes hes productive yes hes goo yes he is #1 WR but hes far from underrated. Most fans see who he is and while a very solid #1 hes not special ie elite..

MI DEZ and TO these dudes would not ever settle for being left out of lays in fact some have been known to go pull player out and run in on play they werent speed to be on the field..they lived for big moments..those are the players fans luv, AC is players fans like they support but they dont flock to him..

Amari is an outstanding receiver in more ways than one. His route running and moves make him devastating for most DBs to cover. He's additionally extremely adept at making adjustments to the ball, even when they're somewhat off target. Yet, his plantar fasciitis does give him trouble, even though he plays through pain quite impressively. His ability to gain separation is, oftentimes, uncanny.

No, Michael Irvin didn't.
Sure he did. Looking at some of his game logs:

1994 - L to detroit. He had 3 catches for 47 yds on 8 targets
1994 - L to NYG. 2 catches for 27 yds
1995 - L to SF. 4 catches for 37 yds
1996 - W vs Wash he had 1 catch for 5 yds
1996 - L vs Wash he had 1 catch for 7 yds

This is just a quick glance at his game logs. All WR's have games where they seem to disappear.

For example?

I think you are making this up. Yes...we have stoopers...who clearly hate Dak. Yes we have smoke blowers that COMPLETELY exaggerate his talents and how dare anyone have ANY criticism. And we also have some that have criticism of him, just like they do any OTHER player...but still like him.

The last category is the hardest for some people to deal with.
What exactly am I making up? You just confirmed there are people on this site that do exactly what I’m describing so why are you saying I’m making it up?

I’m not making a case that Amari is as good as Irvin was. Or that Amari is worth $20m. I’m simply refuting the comment that Micheal never had a bad game.

Take a look at before and after the 90s team was good. Micheal’s production was well below the dynastic teams. It’s the proverbial chicken or egg. Was Micheal’s production (or Emmitt’s or Troy’s for that matter) because of the team or the team’s because of Micheal’s? Would Micheal have been as good on the Browns for most of the last 2 decades?

It’s the “good ole days” syndrome. People only remember the good and forget or dismiss the bad. Like those who say Jimmy Johnson ALLWAYS had his team prepared. That simply isn’t true. Were they prepared more often than not, but there were games were that wasn’t the case.

Cooper would easily be a #1 reciever on the majority of teams in football. One of the premier route runners and seems like a stand up guy. If teams don't have a legit shutdown corner he warrants double coverage.

He does have the MO of taking plays and or games off though. Not sure if it's cause of his plantar fascists but it goes back before his time as a cowboy. Several times last year he gave up on plays resulting in interceptions. If he simply continued on one would have been a td and the other he could at least contested the catch or knocked the ball down.

One game per season? That's practically nonexisiant. I wish that's all Amari disappeared in games.

That's nothing compared to how often Amari disappears in games. 6 times in 3 seasons isn't even worth mentioning.

I don't think you read that correctly.

You said there are people her that YOU think "stoop" to make him look bad...AND claim they really do like him. That wasn't one of my three examples. I said we DO have "stoopers"...who also clearly hate Dak. They exaggerate and misuse stats. Much like another of my examples...the ones that "stoop" th eopposite way and love him so much any form of criticism is a "hater".

My third example is in the middle...fair criticism AND like him. The two previous examples can't process that, and I think by your reply you might be one. No offense intended of course.

So I am asking you for examples of a negative "stooper" who also claims to love Dak. Maybe not necessarily by name...but an example of what one would say?

Someone who goes to great lengths to make Dak look bad while claiming to love him? Let me quote you so we don;t get too far off base here.

"They’ll stoop as low as sounding completely moronic on order to discredit Dak. And then in the same breathe way “oh I like Dak”...please lol."

Who? How?

To be fair that was just about everyone on that team. That was a VERY high standard of excellence. "They stunk before and after the big 90's team". Umm...yeah!

Ok let me clarify myself since there is some confusion....

i'm referencing what you posted here:

Yes...we have stoopers...who clearly hate Dak.

Hopefully there's no more confusion.

Yes...there is still confusion! You said THIS:
"They’ll stoop as low as sounding completely moronic on order to discredit Dak. And then in the same breathe way “oh I like Dak”...please lol."

That is NOT the same as "Stooping" and hating. I mean right? "Stooping and hating" (which I get) is different than stooping and liking (which I don't get). It's just not the same but you keep saying it is. It's nearly the opposite.

I am asking you for examples of what YOU said. "Stoopers" that claim "but I like Dak". Who and how? How do you "stoop to moronically discredit yet claim to like"?

I am about ready to give up.

Put Amari on those teams and I guarantee he disappears” similarly. Amari would’ve been been awesome with Aikman’s precision.

Not by me he isn't. I not only like him as a WR but his demeanor is refreshing, he's a "just do your job" player.
It's especially refreshing since WR is the #1 position for loud mouth locker room Divas.
