Some of the self entitlement that Jaylon appears to walk around with annoys me.

That said, I applaud his ability to get back on the field after that injury. I hope he finds a DC that can find a role for him (no matter the size) that lets him focus on his current abilities. Dallas may have jumped the gun expexting a full time LB considering the injury.
special teams?

totally agree,if he's not one of the top 3 heading into the season, he needs to be benched, dispite his contract.
By midseason, he should be worked into a sub package role if things with the rookies and Neal work out.

They noted that since he’s had offseason wrist injury it’s probably played into slowing him down but they still feel “he does not look as fluid as he has in the past”. They sounded pretty disappointed and said it was “refreshing” to see the difference between him and Parsons. Hopefully he gets going by week 1 because if not he’s outta here in 2022.

It’s around the 10:20 mark btw.

Jaylon Smith is on borrowed time, must have a pro bowl caliber season to remain on the roster. If he struggles this year, there are others behind me who can easily replace him. This maybe the first time where he has pressure on him to perform.

Ellis. Such a cry baby and worry wart. And cost us Moss.
You can't blame Ellis for JJ passing on Moss. If you really want to blame someone, which I don't, you would have to blame Irvin, for that.

Ellis played the majority of his career with a bunch of scrubs on the d-line. He finally got some help, and put up 10 sacks. Only after that, and for the first time in his career, did he start squawking a bit.

For you professional wrestling fans. Jaylon reminds of of the guy on a tag team. That let’s his partner do all the dirty work. Knocks out the opponent. Then Jaylon pulls his partner out the ring and gets the 1-2-3…

Amber finally explained the reason she hates Jaylon on the show. She sounds like a poster on Cowboys Zone. Amber thinks he is arrogant and not self aware. To be honest I don’t know one football player that does not apply too. The fact that he overcame a catastrophic injury shows you what type of person he is. I will say it again, the problem with Jaylon is drop foot has regressed. He is still the best linebacker we have and that is the reason we drafted Parsons/Cox and brought in Neal.

When I listen to her she sounds like he hit or she wanted him to hit but she got the ghost treatment lol!!!! Either way Jaylon was he was when we drafted him most athletes rarely ever recover from the dreaded drop foot injury the fact he made it back at this level was nothing short of amazing. That being said everyone now see why we had Parson at #1 on our board with the CB's as alternative #1's, I believe everything Will McClay was saying when you see how Parson looks athletically compared to Jaylon at this point as far as his ability to change direction without hesitation.

Ambar Garcia hates Jaylon Smith as if it's personal. The others on "The Break" don't rag on Jaylon as she does.
Eatman was the one who provided the real discussion points, but yes she did bring it up with a bit of a personal edge on it.

What are you talking about?? He literally has to pick up his foot to turn and cannot move laterally. That is because of the injury. He also has a strange gate in his run that he never had at Notre Dame. In 2018 he looked like he never had an injury but the last two seasons you could clearly see something is wrong with his leg physically.
In your dreams. Stop telling lies.

I will never understand how some of the fans love LVE and hate Jaylon. I think I know why that is though.:laugh::facepalm:

There’s a salary cap. One makes about 3 million, the other is very overpaid. Production vs value! LVE still has some and it’s dwindling, Jaylon’s is gone!

Eatman was joking around when he said Jaylon looked like Romo with the #9 jersey on. He had no real discussion points about Jaylon.

Literally from 10:30 on it’s basically Eatman. Don’t be weird man if you think it’s not a big deal I get it it’s just OTA’s but you’re not gonna tell me that Eatman didn’t say much when I am literally watching him do it. I’m not going to be your personal stenographer and quote type all of his lines. We’re not doing that.
You are just making something out of nothing. He said nothing of substance.
