Eatman was joking around when he said Jaylon looked like Romo with the #9 jersey on. He had no real discussion points about Jaylon.
He said more than that man. If you don’t think it’s news I get it but the man said more than one line, not even something to argue honestly.

Micah Parsons...

C'MON DOOOOOOOOOOOWN!!!!
That was a given on draft day
Jaylon is not a MLB
I’d use him on strong side, rush him off the edge and next year move on
I’m not sold that Cox is the guy to replace him but we shall see
Him and LVE are in their last year here and the only question is does cox replace one or do we draft another LB next year

or can LVE stick around at a reduced rate? Depending how this season unfolds. Can Bernard move up the depth chart?

I will never understand how some of the fans love LVE and hate Jaylon. I think I know why that is though.:laugh::facepalm:

It's the same ones that gives Sean "DNP" Lee all the praise in the world for his "often injured never dependable" 10 year career that could barely muster up 2 pro bowls while robbing i mean playing for Dallas. LVE will take the place of the Lee apologist until management is ready to bite to bullet from drafting this kid in the first round.

Saw a Keanu Neal interview at OTAs recently said that Jaylon Smith rarely came off the field during 1st team reps, and looked great out there. I rather take the word from a player that's actually out there in the linebacker room oppose to analysts who looked like they've never had their hand in the dirt past JV or giving off vibes like she was left "on read".

Ambar Garcia hates Jaylon Smith as if it's personal. The others on "The Break" don't rag on Jaylon as she does.

What she said about Jaylon wasn't wrong. She's always had more of a fan take. It's really obvious she loves the team, and gets just as pissed off as any of us.

Jaylon was put on notice when we drafted two top LB prospects. Immense pressure can have negative effects on certain people. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jaylon gets benched near seasons end.

Just because her perspective lines up with yours doesn't make it right. She speaks with absolutely no objectivity, just emotion. I see the appeal from a fan's perspective but a fan's perspective is not why I listen to "The Break". She should have never been on that podcast.

So you believe your analogy with playing a instrument is equivalent to the first week of OTA's?
Yes. Yes I do. OTA's are mini workouts, right? a bit of drilling in "pretending"...if you will. Now me? WOuld I be able to tell an NFL players status in OTA's? No, Of course not. An NFL professional observer should be able to tell.

I wouldn't expect a non-guitar player to know what I know about it. The way you shoulder or hold a guitar. The way the fingers and wrist move to play notes. Just the way you look...or not look...at the fretboard. Without even playing one note.

OTA's = holding/handling a guitar
real NFL game = playing a full song with a band.

So yes...I fully stand by my analogy.

Why do you have to be in a band to play a full song?

Im amazed (or maybe I shouldnt be here) with how LVE skates on by. He was absolutely worse than Jaylon last year but you’d never know it looking at page 1 of this forum.

He’s not focused on improving, he’s focused on looking better. To drop a half million just switch numbers when you’re on the brink of getting released says it all.

I think the idea is to hear from several different perspectives. I see no problem with her view point sprinkled into the show. To each his own.
