Zack Martin at guard missed 2 games out of a possible 96 between 2014 and 2019
Zack Martin at tackle missed 6 games out of a possible 8 in 2020.

Draw your own conclusions.

Now he IS an older player so maybe he was going to get hurt anyway even staying at guard.. But if that's the case he's no more reliable than Smith is..

first off let docs and players decide when they should have surgery....

secondly PAY Attention,

hes had the back we know about, then the elbow, missed few games over knee issue, and then the neck thing popped up..the time he missed has been mixed bag on those injuries and here and there..this neck surgery was new deal that wa s bothering him but finally got it done when it got worse..

I am so jaded by all the BS that comes from the Cowboys every preseason. Everyone looks great. Maliek Collins was going to have a breakout year every year until they let him walk in free agency and he signs a cheap contract with the Raiders. I think the Cowboys will not win a Super Bowl again until we see a preseason when all we hear is how bad everyone looks.

Yeah, I think we’re ALL so much more jaded than we used to be. That said, every team and their fanbase is more optimistic this time of year. If anything, the Cowboy fanbase seems like one of the most jaded and negative.

Honestly, I think the fanbase SHOULD be a little more optimistic this year. We’ve changed DC’s and acquired 14 new players, so there’s genuine reason to expect improvement.

It was Tyron's decision, he's never had a surgery before and apparently didn't want to have it so he went the manage it route.

The neck issue is the back issue. Previous staff called it a back issue probably so opponents didn't try to screw with his neck during a game.

Blah, Blah, Blah. I've been drinking less than ever, but the season hasn't started yet.

Players always say their in the best shape ever, never felt better. Tyron is great when he's not sidelined, but he has missed his fair share of games with back and neck issues, nagging injuries that never really go away, surgery or not. We should trade him while we can, I think he only has a couple years left in the tank anyway.

My brother had neck surgery
He thought he has back problems but it was all neck
Hopefully this fixes the issue because if we have a healthy oline this year that’s gonna help the defense more than any player could

We keep having good drafts because of a bad record. Maybe one more good draft is needed. Think of how good we could be then. ;)
