When Will McClay was on 105.3, Broaddus told McClay that one of his scout friends from another team told him that we got his guy. That they were going to take him with their next pick. McClay then told Broaddus that he had about 4-5 teams call him that they got their guy as well.

I've heard it said around the NFL that Simi may be the BEST receiver in the draft PERIOD.. Laugh if you may, but some say he may turn out to be the steal of the draft. Bookmark I said this, go ahead do it!

hold the horses , first let him work his way into the 53, then get some playing time , perform on the field before the anointing Oil can be opened , LOL

Outside of Ed McCaffrey, what pro wide receivers has Stanford University produced?
Exactly!
Get him with a professional wide receiver coach and see what he can do.
Simi is Coming to America's Team!

WR Simi Fehoko, Stanford;
Drafted 5th Round
– 6-4, 230 and runs a 4.37

Some comments From Ourlads Draft:

-Used in a various ways, outside WR, deep go routes, slot WR, goal line jump balls, used as a Noah Brown type role at times, digging out blocks vs LBs as a motion HB.

- Only started one year, and displayed invaluable ability on special teams.

- Most big plays came from slot spot. Matchup nightmare in slot or bunched formation

- Described a long strider that eats up a lot of cushion in a hurry.
- Smooth, intelligent, deceptively athletic.
- Extremely violent hands at the top of his routes.

- Will need to work on neck-shoulder dexterity (dipping and swiveling hips and shoulders
to “ sell” his routes)
- Struggles with the more elite CBs at the top of his routes,
- Third/Fourth Round.

Me:
- I heard a You Tube Podcaster called Simi a “ bigger Cole Beasley “ but he doesn’t look near that fluid, smooth or change of direction foot quick.as Beasley.

- Ironically I heard Isiah Stanback on a Cowboys podcast say per OTA observations that Simi
doesn’t look “ fluid”...

From just his “ highlights” I can see Simi use his big body and arm stretch to snare contested
passes away from coverage guys, and he gain a few inches from some in the vertical game.
Its early, but not off to a great start. I hope hes something special, but w’ll see.

The reports from the team website say he's struggling.

You guys tend to overrate anyone we draft.

That comment comparing him to Beasly is bizarre to say the least.

They are nothing alike.

Long strider vs short-quick stepper
Long speed vs short quickness
Big body vs little body

They literally seem close to opposites.

That's bold. This draft had Chase, D. Smith and Waddle.

Just on projections they'd have been the top three in 2019 let alone 2020.

I mean, I'm not cold on this kid, and I agree he might have been underrated, but who exactly is saying he'd be projected above those prospects let alone others taken before him?
