There was plenty of information that Kraft was one of those pushing goodell to suspend Zeke. So take off your Patriot Homer glasses.
does anyone in NE blame Jerry for the deflategate farce? He was one of the ones pushing Kraft not to fight it, to "take one for the team? the answer is no...

So, sorry, but thats just plain stupid, blaming Kraft for anything related to Zeke. The problem Zeke had was he couldnt keep his hands to himself during a time he was being investigated for dv...

and I will keep my Patriot rose colored glasses right where they are tyvm

He stole my girlfriend in the second grade.

Aside from that there are articles out there where he lobbied Goodell for Zekes suspension. The quote goes something like, " my guy got 4 games for a deflated ball, what's the hold up on Zeke?"

So again, screw Kraft. He should worry about his own cheating team.
Can you provide some links to those articles?

Typical patsy response. Its never anyone in the Patriots fault for anything.

and you defending Goodells witch hunt on Zeke is really comical.

Nothing happens to Kraft and the Patsies. Known multiple incidents of cheating. Pretty much crickets. I'm sure Kraft struck multiple deals to always support the "old guard" and Goodhell.

The Ben Rapistberger thing was a little different. That was the Rooney's boy and Rooney was the "old guard". Hell, Big Ben coulda been not only a serial rapist but also a mass murderer and the League woulda turned a blind eye.

Dallas is just an upstart team from the South. They gonna get the dry screw.

To be fair, I wouldn't expect anything to happen to Jerry, Kraft, Lurie, Snyder, etc. They make enough money for stuff like this to go away.

I absolutely did not defend goodells investigation... screw herr goodell... Only thing i said was zeke wasn't smart about his own actions... tell me where i am wrong in that assertion

and fyi, goodell and his witch hunts have done more to damage the Patriots than any other team (besides the saints) over the past 20 years

and the the Patriots, whats to defend when they havent done anything wrong except violate a "you cant tape from this location" rule

multiple draft picks lost, millions in fines, and a player guilty of nothing suspended based on a report so obviously written for a predetermined conclusion is nothing but crickets... and yet you cry about zeke losing 6 games and th unfairness of it all? good grief, get a grip man

People just don't comprehend that rich guys like that live in a different world. Many many many of them should be in jail and would be w/o cash/power.

Our previous neighbor was president of Valero Oil. He got caught soliciting an underage male. Anyone else goes to jail, he got probation.

Exactly. It's not really justice for all. If you've got the money, you can get away with pretty much anything.

In fact, to those singling out Kraft, I wouldn't be surprised if Jerry has done some stuff like that. Like Kraft, he's got enough money for it to go away. The only time the government really goes after them is if they cheat the tax man too much.

I want "get away with anything" money. Not sure I would need to get away with anything as I'm a pretty boring person, but it would be nice to have all that money.

No true connection of Kraft . The owner had sold the Massage Parlor to someone else before the investigation. Kraft came earlier before the Sting caught prostitution. It wasn't really for Kraft, but trying to link a a certain Orange guy to it.

Charges were dropped because the police weren't allowed to use the only evidence they had against him, the video tapes they illegally installed. What can the league do about that? The police aren't going to talk to NFL investigators. The massage parlor certainly isn't saying anything. So it's like it never happened.

i get it but the league can do stuff...there was evidence that Zekes accuser was lying about everything and the police did nothing but Zeke still got suspended. They still could’ve fined him or the team. “Conduct detrimental”

Look, I agree on the Zeke thing. To me that was ridiculous. But there was something there with the Zeke incident. It depended on who you believed. As misguided as we think the ultimate decision was, the situation left open a decision. A ruling had to be made.

No such situation exists with Kraft. No decision to be made. He got a massage and that's it. Is that illegal? Who's his accuser? The cops? They're not saying anything. We all know the truth. But there's nothing to work with. There's not even a he said she said thing going on. Nothing.

well the Zeke thing reeked of garbage because it was reported by a third party that the accuser made it all up and then the police didn’t find anything to use and dropped it and even the leagues own investigation determined it was garbage but then Zeke gets suspended anyway.
So I compared the two because obviously the standard for punishment was different for a super elite owner vs a Cowboy player (I won’t even go down that other path). I don’t care if he Kraft paid for sexual services, I really don’t care. But to say “well the Zeke thing was a bad look for the league even though it was false so we must punish” while saying “well there’s no hard or admissible evidence that Kraft did it so we can’t punish” is hypocrisy at its finest. The Kraft thing was also a bad look for the league.

This is the point people keep missing. There's also no evidence that you or I did it either. He has no accuser or accusations against him. Nothing to punish him for. He's no different than anyone else that has done nothing. Now if the tapes leaked, that would be different.

no I’m not missing that...just saying the league could’ve still just used the “conduct detrimental” despite lack of proof or any accuser. I actually think it looks worse that the Uber wealthy owner gets off Scott free while players get suspensions...bad look.

I agree. It looks terrible. But the league really couldn't do anything about it. There was no conduct detrimental.
